The Malawi National Youth Summit is commencing today at BICC under the theme:
“Accelerating Progress: Reflecting on Impact, Expanding Prospects for Youth Development in Malawi.”

Youth from across Malawi have gathered to share ideas, learn, network and explore opportunities for meaningful youth participation in national development.
We are proud to see C.4.C well represented at this important platform. We look forward to learning, contributing and connecting with fellow young leaders.

We are excited and proud to share that our Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Ibrahim Stonard, has been selected for this year's National Youth Summit as a Youth Delegate. He will be representing Catalyst for Change Organization (C.4.C) at the 2026 National Youth Summit, taking place from 18th–20th August 2026 at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC), Lilongwe.

The Summit is being held under the theme: “Accelerating Progress: Reflecting on Impact, Expanding Prospects for Youth Development in Malawi.”

As an organization committed to empowering young people and children, we are proud to see our Founder joining fellow young leaders from across Malawi to share experiences, exchange ideas and contribute to national conversations on youth development.

We look forward to seeing C.4.C’s vision and the voices of the young people and children we serve represented at this important national platform.

Investing in young leaders is investing in a better future!

We are proud to share that our Project Officer at C.4.C and Zatonse Youth Club Chairperson, Mr. Muhammad Ishmael, had the privilege of attending a Training of Trainers (ToT) on the Impacts of Climate Change on Health, Gender and Community Development held at the UNFPA Headquarters in Lilongwe from Tuesday to Thursday this week.

The training equipped young leaders with knowledge on how climate change affects health, gender and communities, while strengthening their capacity to promote Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and lead community-driven climate action. We congratulate Mr. Ishmael on this achievement and look forward to seeing the positive impact of the knowledge gained in our communities.

The knowledge and skills gained will help empower young people to become champions of climate action, health, gender equality and community resilience. Together, we can build stronger and healthier communities.

Education is one of the most powerful tools we can use to transform communities.

At Catalyst for Change (C.4.C), we are committed to empowering learners in underserved communities across Chikwawa District, Malawi, where many children still face barriers to accessing quality education and where education is often undervalued.

We believe that mentoring is more than sharing knowledge, it is about planting seeds of hope, confidence and purpose. When we mentor one child today, that child can inspire and mentor another tomorrow. That is how lasting change spreads: one child, one family and one community at a time.

Every conversation matters. Every lesson matters. Every child matters💪🔥

Together, we are nurturing a generation that believes in education, dreams beyond limitations and becomes a force for positive change in their communities.

Our Managing Director had the privilege of inspiring approximately 100 young people from Mangochi and Chikwawa Districts at the Malawi Red Cross Society 2026 Youth Camp held at Chikwawa Secondary School. Through his personal journey from a rural village in Chikwawa to university and community leadership, he encouraged the young people to believe that their background does not determine their future.

We sincerely appreciate the Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS) and the Chikwawa District Youth Office for organizing this impactful Youth Camp and for creating a platform where young people can learn, grow, and be inspired. Such investments in youth development are essential in building responsible, resilient and purpose-driven leaders for Malawi.
