🌾 Manzeal Partners: Bridging the Gap to Empower Vulnerable Communities 🌾

At Manzeal Partners, our mission is clear: To contribute to zero hunger and improved livelihoods for the vulnerable people of Ntcheu, Phalombe, and other districts in Malawi. 🌍

Our Objectives:

1. Farmer Clubs for Rural Development: We're establishing and operating farmer clubs that provide annual loans of farm inputs like fertilizers and improved seeds to smallholder farmers. This promotes rural development, ensuring food and income security for our communities.

2. Empowering Youth, Women, and the Disabled: We're empowering the next generation with essential skills and climate-smart agricultural technologies. By doing so, we're breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for all.

3. Gender Mainstreaming: We're committed to mainstreaming gender equality, equity, and social inclusion in our farmers' club credit facility. Our goal is to create an inclusive society where everyone has a fair chance to thrive.

By aligning our objectives with non-profit strategies to address structural inequalities, we're making strides toward a more equitable and just world. Together, we can create lasting change and uplift our communities. πŸ’ͺ🌱

The farm input loan project is being implemented in Ntcheu, with tchauya Group Village Headman Tchauya as its main center. The beneficiaries apply to join the club, and the club committee selects beneficiaries depending on the availability of funds. Once selected, beneficiaries are organized into a farm club, named Tchauya Farmer Club. Each beneficiary gets fertilizer and seeds.

We had 350 beneficiaries this year alone, but the number has decreased due to the increase in farm input prices.(2022)
