💛 WALL OF BUILDERS – DSAB MALAWI 💛
DSAB (Down Syndrome Association of Blantyre) is currently renovating a children’s inclusion and support centre in Blantyre to create a safe, accessible, and child-friendly space for children with Down Syndrome and their families.
Many children with developmental disabilities in Malawi have very limited access to safe spaces, inclusive activities, and support services. Our goal is to help build a centre where children can learn, play, and feel included in their community. 💛

As part of the project, we have launched the Wall of Builders Cement Bag Challenge 🧱
Companies, organisations, and individuals can support the renovation by sponsoring cement bags for the construction work:
🧱 1 bag of cement = MWK 30,000
🧱 5 bags of cement = MWK 150,000
🧱 10 bags of cement = MWK 300,000
All supporters will be recognised on our Wall of Builders Support Wall at the centre and in our project updates.

We are especially looking for:

💛 organisations
💛 anyone willing to help us build a safer future for children

Today our friends in Finland were selling coffee, buns and sweets in order to raise funds for the renovation 🤩

Tänään myymässä Herttoniemessä! Kahdessa tunnissa myytiin kahvi, pullat ja tofupasteijat loppuun 🤩

Kesällä tullaan kiertämään tapahtumia Helsingissä, jotta saadaan toimintakeskus kuntoon 💪🏼💪🏼

We now have a space for our Inclusion & Resource Centre — but it needs renovation before it can truly serve our children and youth.
We need to repair windows, fix floors, paint walls, and make the space safe and welcoming.

We see more than a building — we see a future full of opportunity, inclusion, and joy.

✨ We’re excited to share some good news! ✨

The Down Syndrome Association of Blantyre has secured a space for our upcoming Inclusion & Resource Center.

This space will allow us to create a safe and welcoming environment where children and youth with Down syndrome can belong, learn, and grow.

The building now needs renovation to become fully functional and we invite you to be part of this journey.

Together, we can transform this space into something truly meaningful 💙
