Today was a truly inspiring day for Kairo Sporting Foundation! 🙌

We had the opportunity to visit Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), where our kids took part in an exciting educational trip focused on technology and innovation. 💻✨

The visit was part of the *Hello Tomorrow* program at the Innovation Hub, which is dedicated to teaching children under the age of 15 the basics of computer skills, programming, and coding.

From 9 AM to 12 PM, our kids were fully engaged in a hands-on learning session led by the amazing Hello Tomorrow coordinators. They were introduced to different tools and concepts in programming—some explored coding through Scratch, while others got a glimpse into Python programming. 🧠🚀

It was incredible to see their curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn. Experiences like these are shaping the future of our young minds and opening doors to endless possibilities in the tech world.

A big thank you to the Innovation Hub team for such an impactful session! 👏

Kairo Sporting Foundation's Community Service Initiative in Action!

Over the weekend, our kids visited Chirimba Community Hospital and gave back to the community by cleaning the surroundings. We're thrilled that the hospital's management appreciated their efforts! As part of our off-season activities, this initiative taught our kids the value of community service and promoting cleanliness.

Huge thanks to our coordinators and funders for making this possible! We're committed to continuing our community outreach programs, inspiring positive change one step at a time.

🎉 As we wrap up our program, we had an amazing time with the kids through different games including Tug of War, running race, Egg spoon race, and a Football Match 🏆⚽

🙏 Special thanks to our coaches, parents, and coordinators for making this possible through great teamwork and support.

📚 The children also received school learning materials as they prepare to go back to school — fulfilling our mission of promoting education through sports.

💡 For those who would love to join or support, our doors remain open. Reach out to any of our coordinators and be part of this journey.

We may not have been perfect in everything, but we believe the next cohort will be even bigger and better. 💪

❤️ Thank you all for the support!

Earlier today, we were honored to have Asante Mbisa (social worker) who was invited to have a "Mental Health" session with our participants. Asante emphasized the importance of having good mental well-being while still young, which improves emotional resilience and a sense of self-control.

We were also privileged to have parents who joined the session after a "parents and staff" meeting, which was organized to build a good relationship and work together to sustain our programs.

We look forward to the Sports Fest on Saturday, 30 August 2025, as we conclude our "Goals and Grades" program.

On Saturday (23-08-2025), our participants had their first site visit to MUBAS Innovation Hub where they experienced technological innovations through the "Hello Tomorrow" program. Apart from the technological mentorship from the Hello Tomorrow staff, most of the kids had an opportunity to use a computer for their first time. Isn't that awesome?
We really appreciate the "Hello Tomorrow" team for hosting us and inspiring the kids to learn more about technological innovations.
