Ana ndi Achinyamata Patsogolo Activity (ANAPA) has resumed implementation, with a new scope of work (SOW) focusing on lifesaving and humanitarian activities. ANAPA is now emphasizing on Care & Treatment services for people living with HIV (PLHIV) and children and adolescents living with HIV (C/ALHIV) that directly impact clinical outcomes. In line with the UNAIDS 95-95-95 epidemic control goals and gaps, ANAPA programming will continue to prioritize PLHIV, C/ALHIV 0-17 years, including HIV exposed infants (HEI) and HIV exposed uninfected (HEU); and teen mothers below 18 years and their HEI/HEU.

Today, 17th May, 2025 is the

INTERNATIONAL CHILD HELPLINE DAY.

Active Youth Association., thought it wise to join the celebration of the role child helplines play in protecting and empowering children across the globe.

Child Helplines offer safe spaces for children to voice out their issues, seek help when they need it most. In Malawi, the National Child Helpline is operated by Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) through the Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare.

Every child has a voice. No child should be left unheard.

We work hand in hand with YONECO in safeguarding the Rights of Children in Malawi, especially in Blantyre at Machinjiri, as we are based here at South Lunzu Health Centre(under the Leadership of Mphatso Limbanga Jnr as our Executive Director).

More thanks to the YONECO Officer, madam Sewenthe Chipofya for always trusting and including us in the programs and projects to be executed.

We shall never blink until we see Children's Rights are recognised and protected at all cost...
