Meet Gogo Etinesi Majomeka, a 74-year-old woman from Kachiwala Village, under T/A Kuntaja in Blantyre District.

Our journey to her home was more than a walk it was a step into the forgotten corners of our communities, where resilience lives in silence and is needed the most.

Despite her age and isolation, Gogo Etinesi welcomed us with quiet strength and a yearning for connection. Her story is a representation of the of many elderly individuals who often go unseen and unheard.

Through the ECAST (Elderly Care Awareness & Support Taskforce 2025) initiative, we aim to change that, one visit, one story, one act of kindness at a time.

Let’s continue to walk these paths together and remind our elderly that they still matter, they are not alone, and they are loved.

What a heartwarming moment it is for us to receive a Certificate and Letter of Appreciation from Legacy Foundation for our collaboration in a recent outreach program focused on uplifting the elderly.

This recognition is not just a win for Radiant Realms Foundation, but for every young person who showed up with love, energy, and compassion to serve. It reminds us that when individuals, youth, leaders, women, men, rise to the occasion, communities are transformed.

Being in a position to serve and support our elderly citizens was both humbling and inspiring. It reminded us of the strength, wisdom, and beauty that lies in our senior generation and how important it is to preserve it with love, respect and dignity.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all the partners who walked this journey with us. This is just the beginning, we are yet to do more as the project continues.
