It was a great honor to be part of the REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON THE AUDITOR GENERAL REPORT that was organized by the African Institute for Corporate Citizenship (AICC) in conjunction with the National Audit Office (NAO) and INTOSAI Development Institute (IDI).
The workshop focused on understanding the Auditor General Report and Key Audit and tracking Implementation of Audit.

These areas are a great opportunity for our organization to improve our skills for the betterment of the community.

Starlight Organization recently attended a training session on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) organized by UN Women. The training offered valuable insights and practical tools, including standard operating procedures on SEA cases inorder to strengthen understanding and response to critical issues such as sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse, as well as informed consent and reporting mechanisms.

The session was highly informative and engaging, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to foster a safe and respectful environment for everyone, especially vulnerable populations.

It was a great honor for Starlight to participate in a training session organized by Fountain of Hope-FOHOP that focused on Disability Mainstreaming.

This training provided valuable insights into the importance of integrating disability considerations into all aspects of development and service delivery.

There is need for disability Inclusion to ensure that their needs and perspectives are prioritized in planning and implementation processes.

The session fostered a collaborative environment where different organizations and stakeholders shared experiences, challenges, and innovative solutions to make mainstreaming efforts more effective and sustainable

Starlight Organization attended a district engagement meeting on 26 June 2025 under the Social Sector Financing Program, organized by NGO CCR and its implementing partner UNICEF.

The meeting provided a platform for stakeholders to learn how they can engage at the district level during budgeting processes and how it is important to contribute to the citizen budget.
