🎓 Celebrating a Remarkable Milestone

At Giving Hope to the Hopeless (GIHOH), we proudly celebrate the remarkable academic achievement of one of our dedicated members, Emmanuel Lipande, who has successfully graduated from the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology. 🎓👏

Emmanuel is a true testament to leadership, commitment, and perseverance. He once served as the Chairperson of GIHOH and currently serves as our General Secretary, continuing to demonstrate his dedication to the organization and its mission.

His academic journey began at Namatapa Primary School, followed by Bangwe Day Secondary School. Through hard work, determination, and God's grace, he went on to pursue his Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology at MUST, culminating in this well-deserved achievement.

Today, we celebrate not only his graduation but also the journey, sacrifices, and determination that brought him to this milestone.

Congratulations, Emmanuel! 🎉🎓

🌟 Meet Precious Makiyi – A Story of Perseverance and Resilience

Born and raised in Bangwe, Precious Makiyi, Head of the Media Department at GIHOH, has a story that reminds us that success is not always a straight path.

His university journey was filled with challenges, uncertainty, academic setbacks, and moments when giving up seemed like the easier option. At one point, he even faced the possibility of repeating an academic year. Yet, through faith, determination, and hard work, he refused to let setbacks define his future.

Today, Precious proudly stands as a graduate, proving that persistence can overcome obstacles and that difficult seasons do not last forever.

Dalitso is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and is in his fourth year of study.

We are proud to announce that he has recently been elected as the Chairperson of the Malawi Engineering Institution at MUST.
