Ufuluwathu CBO is an indigenous local community Based Organisation non profit and non partisan operating in the area of Senior Chief Nazombe in Phalombe district of southern Malawi.

The organization was established on 26th April 2006 with the aim of addressing developmental issues in Nazombe and Nkhulambe villages, Phalombe district in the aspect of Human rights, Child protection, Education, Environmental Conservation, Disaster risk Management, Sexual reproductive health rights issues, and Good governance.

It is registered by the District Social welfare Office and at the Registrar general as company limited by guarantee well for it's advocacy work on human rights and governance.

Going forward, ufuluwathu CBO will work to empower communities to own development works through Participatory community engagement and definitions of needs and aspirations.
