This video is from September 2022 and shows the wedding of Rav Levi Duchman, co-founder of the Alliance of Rabbis in Islamic Countries (ARIS), who has worked closely with Jewish communities across the MENA region. At the ceremony, Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Eagle Hills, recited the seven traditional wedding blessings for the couple in Arabic.The wedding took place two years after the UAE and Israel formally established diplomatic relations following the signing of the Abraham Accords in 2020.Do we still need more proof that Alabbar is a Jewish supporter of Jewish and allow President Muizzu to lease him 500 hectares of land for free?

Abdulla Ibrahim Abucha is one of the biggest drug dealers in this country. Police arrested him twice once in 2019 and again in 2020 and they took 104 kg of drugs from him. Even with such a big case, his court case was pending for a very long time.
In July 2019 he was arrested, but by September 2019 the Criminal Court already released him. That itself was strange.

Then in May 2025, Hithadhoo Magistrate Court finally sentenced him to 50 years for two drug cases. But after the Prosecutor General’s Office gave recommendation, the sentence was cut down to 25 years.Now in 2026 the Parole Board recommended to release him, and he is free already. He didn’t even complete half of his sentence.

This is completely wrong and unlawful. The biggest question is: who is behind this Parole Board decision? How can they release such a dangerous drug dealer knowing his full history? If one of the biggest drug dealers can come out after only around 6 years, then what hope do we have to fight the drug problem in this country?

Many people are sitting in jail for long years for small cases, but these big criminals are walking free. This is the cruel reality of Maldives. There is a clear nexus between drug dealers, gangs, politicians, police and judiciary and they all protect each other because of their own interests.

First he tried to give 90 hectares of land for free to his friend CMCC’s Raju, but he failed. Now he’s trying to lease half of Rasmalé to his UAE friends and he’ll definitely fail again.
This is not land owned by MMuizzu . It belongs to the people.
This deal must be cancelled.

Eagle Hills has changed their press statement .
They removed the part about 99-year lease automatically starting on every sale or inheritance.
Now they say transfers need Government approval.
If there was nothing to hide, why change the wording only after the public started questioning it?

What a shameful scam this is.
Between 2019 and 2024 the government poured MVR 835 million into the free degree scheme, but the State does not even know how many students completed their studies under the program. The audit report found that although the State spent MVR 835.7 million on 16,388 students, no information was maintained to identify which students actually finished their studies and obtained their first degree.

Muizzu government is quietly handing over nearly 500 hectares of precious Rasmalé land worth around MVR 318 billion to foreign company Eagle Hills.This is almost half of the entire 1,058 hectares being reclaimed from Fushidhiggaru lagoon. In return, Eagle Hills signs a massive USD 20 billion waterfront and marina project.But look carefully at the fine print.
Very dangerous point: Every time the property is sold or inherited, the lease clock completely resets and the new owner gets another full 99-year lease. In simple words, this land can stay under foreign control generation after generation. Maldivian land is being locked away for almost forever.
Even more worrying: The man behind Eagle Hills, founder and chairman Mohamed Alabbar, and his son Rashid have very close links with Israel. In 2023 Alabbar personally helped raise funds for a hospital project linked to Israel Defense Forces Surgeon General Yitshak Kreiss. About three years ago, Alabbar and his son also sat down with Israeli President Isaac Herzog himself to discuss “healthcare innovation and sustainable progress.”
So the Muizzu government is not only selling huge amounts of reclaimed Maldivian land to a foreign developer they are giving it under terms that can last forever, to a company whose top people have open and friendly ties with Israel.Is this how a government protects Maldivian land and national interest?

Now under President Muizzu the rate already hit MVR 23, yet he is still allowed to stay till 2028.
