The Sri Lanka U20 National Football Team visited the Maldives to participate in the SAFF U20 Championship 2026. We are proud to note that eight players in the squad are Zahirians, and the Head Coach of the U20 National Team is also a proud Zahirian.

The Zahira College Old Boys’ Association Maldives organized a special get-together to welcome and appreciate the Zahirians representing the national team.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish them continued success in the tournament and in their future football careers.

We, the Zahira College Old Boys Association of Maldives, had the honour of meeting the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the Maldives, Hon. Mr. Rizvi Hassen.

It was indeed a pleasant and productive discussion, where we shared ideas on future activities and collaborations in the Maldives.
