Alhamdulillah! 90 Cats Successfully Sterilized! 🐱💚

With the availability of anesthesia from Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources and the dedicated efforts of FWO's veterinary surgeon, Dr. Mehboob Ur Rehman Joiya , we have successfully sterilized 90 cats at OlhuHiyaa between 7th and 14th October 2026.

Most of the cats have now fully recovered, allowing us to create more space for new intakes.

We look forward to welcoming more cats from Malé very soon!

🎨🐾 LITTLE ARTISTS, BIG HEARTS! ❤️

To celebrate World Animal Day on 4 October, Erika Veterinary Clinic invites children aged 7–11 years to join our Kids for Animals – Poster Awareness Challenge!

🌟 Theme: Be Kind to Every Animal

Create a drawing that shows how we can care for animals, especially stray animals in our community. Your poster could share a message about providing clean water, feeding responsibly, helping injured animals, preventing abandonment or keeping animals safe on our roads. 🐱🐰🐦🦎

📅 Challenge dates: 1–15 October 2026

🎨 How to participate:
Create your poster and send your completed drawing to Erika Veterinary Clinic by 15 October 2026. Our team will review the entries and select the first, second and third place winners!
