Craft Aid (Mauritius) is a Company limited by guarantee dedicated to the welfare of the disabled people. All profits generated by the Company are fully re-invested in the Company in the form of profit sharing to the employees, donations to other disabled organizations and to invest in new machinery and equipment. The company was created in the May 1982. The main objective is to provide
paid employment to the disabled and rehabilitate them in the society. Craft Aid (Mauritius) employs mentally and physically disabled persons as well as mute and deaf person. Besides that, Craft Aid (Mauritius) also provides employment to underprivileged, the needy and poor people. Membership
Craft Aid (Mauritius) is a member of WFTO. The aim of this association is to improve the livelihood of disadvantage people in developing countries by linking and strengthening organisation that offer just alternative to unfair trade practice. Our mission statement supports fair trade ethics, as expressed in the WFTO code of practice. All our products are for exportation
We export mainly to the European countries such as UK-CANADA-USA-AUSTRIA-FINLAND-SWTZERLAND etc
