Muharram is not just the first month of the Islamic calendar. It is one of the four sacred months chosen and honoured by Allah. A month in which good deeds carry immense weight and sincere acts of worship hold great value.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"The most virtuous fasting after the month of Ramadan is Allah's month Al-Muharram."
(Sahih Muslim)
