CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT SSSC D'EPINAY
On the auspicious day of 25 Dec 2025, some 60 devotees joined in a spirit of togetherness and imbued with love at the seat of Sri Sathya Sai Centre of D’Epinay; turning ‘Merry Christmas’ into ‘Holy Christmas’.

The celebration started with Vedam chanting followed by the lighting of the Christmas Candle. When childlike innocence is termed as priceless purity where Godly Presence is assured, who else other than the blossoming buds are better equipped to sing glories unto the New Born ‘Divine’ Jesus. The program consisted of the rendering of poems, sharing (by way of conversation) on the lesson of Christmas, Sarva Dharma bhajans and ended with the singing of Christmas Carols; all beautifully executed by the SSSE students. Santa Claus marked his presence for gifts distribution. The celebration concluded with the cutting of Christmas Cake by the Bal Vikas students, followed by Mangala Aarti and Christmas dinner.

This spiritual activity, led by the SSE Wing, has helped all devotees present to strengthen the feeling that we are the messenger of God. We are deeply grateful to Bhagavān for blessing us with this divine opportunity to celebrate Christmas to His tunes.

When Christmas becomes a big time celebration around the world, often marked with pomp and show, meeting, eating and shopping much away from the decrees of Jesus Christ, let us celebrate the event in the Holiest Way and to Bhagavan's Tunes; growing and glowing in Christ Consciousness. Let the legend of Christmas serves as a pointer for man to evolve into Divine.

Join us for a blissful evening on Thursday 25 December 2025 with the chanting of Vedam and joyous offerings of Poems and Christmas Carols by the Blossoming Buds (Bal Vikas students). Santa Claus will grace the event with the distribution of token of love to all children. Maha Prasad will be served on this joyous occasion.

Glittering 100th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

If 100 is a magical figure for mankind, for the Supreme Divinity called Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, His ‘Hundred Years’ on the planet signifies an infinitely potent moment for the entire creation. 23rd November, the dotted Day in the ‘His Story’ Of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, travelled past 99 times earlier to reach the brink of this milestone today – this very Day that marks the 100th Year of His Supreme Advent! So, this is the Day of ‘Happy Birthday’ for the Supreme Divine in the human frame, the Day, He, with His magical munificence, bestowed upon humanity to rejoice and celebrate. It is apt to remind oneself amid all these celebrations as to what Bhagawan had spoken about it; He said, “My Birthday is the Day when Divinity blossoms in your heart.”

The Birth Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was held on 23 November 2025 at 04:00 p.m with a spiritually uplifting finale at the seat of Sri Sathya Sai Centre of D’Epinay. The Hall , adorned in festive splendour, welcomed around 75 devotees. The programme commenced with Vedam Chanting followed by Guru Stotram. Laksharchana; whereby all devotees present chanted His 108 names (Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottara Shata Namavali), while offering rice, ensued. The program also consisted of a beautiful dance and story telling by the SSE students, soulful bhajans and projection of a documentary video on the life and message of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The celebration concluded with Mangala Arthi at around 18:30.

CANDLELIGHT WALK- A REPORT

When Gandhiji wanted the world to sit up and notice India's fight for freedom, he walked for 24 days over 385 kilometers from Sabarmati ashram to Dandi. This walk changed the Freedom Movement forever. Similarly Swami has walked since childhood to change the world. He walked to Bukkapatnam to study; walked all over Puttaparthi to Grace every home with his love.

As part of centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of D’Epinay organised a Candlelight Walk on 22 Nov 2025; which served as a way for devotees to honor Sri Sathya Sai Baba's life and teachings. Some 80 participants, comprising Bal Vikas students, Young Adults, Samithi members and devotees of the Sai Community walked together; singing devotional songs (bhajans) and carrying candles as a symbol of the triumph of light over darkness and the spreading of peace and love.

The walk culminated at the seat of Sri Sathya Sai Centre of D’Epinay with a special Swami’s birthday message, Vote of thanks , Mangala Aarti and Mahaprasad.

LADIES DAY CELEBRATIONS BY MAHILA VIBHAG - SRI SATHYA SAI CENTRE OF D'EPINAY

Aimed at women's empowerment, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai had in 1995 declared 19th November every year as Ladies's Day. Since then, every year, 19 November is the dotted day among the Sai fraternity, celebrating womanhood as per the guidance of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai. This special day emphasizes the significance of women as the nurturing and powerful force within the universe.

On this special day, the Ladies Forum of Sri Sathya Sai Centre of D'Epinay organised a service activity at Meenatchee Home- Kaylasson; whereby a dinner was served to the inmates and the Shaktis spent some quality time with them; showering onto "these underpriviledged ones" boundless love of Bhagavan Baba. The recipients were full of joy after partaking the yummy food and dessert; which were prepared with utmost care and love by the Mahilas.
