"Unite for Good" – Our Journey Together
What does it take to build a stronger club?
On March 7th, the Rotary Club of Salazie-Brisée Verdière gathered for a full-day working session titled "Unite for Good". It wasn’t just a meeting; it was a day of deep reflection, honest communication, and renewed commitment.
Our journey through the day included:
◇The Human Barometer: We started by taking a stand—literally—practicing empathy by explaining perspectives different from our own.
◇The Honest Mirror: We conducted a deep-dive SWOT analysis to acknowledge our challenges and identify our strengths to move forward.
◇The Blind Minefield: We navigated a "minefield" of chaos to learn the vital importance of clear communication and trust when things get loud.
◇Future Headlines: We visualized our success by designing magazine covers for our club’s impact in 2030.
◇The Hidden Asset Hunt: We "auctioned" our professional skills and "weird" talents to solve high-pressure crisis scenarios, proving that together, we are unbeatable.
◇The Affirmation Ponchos: We closed the day by writing words of appreciation on each other’s backs, leaving with a "poncho" full of the value we bring to this club.
We ended with a symbolic gift: an empty box. Why? Because the real gift isn't something you can buy—it’s the people in this circle and the trust we are rebuilding together.
A new chapter for our club has begun. Let’s keep "Serving Above Self"!
