The Malta Association of Minority Shareholders and Retail Investors (originally Malta Association of Small Shareholders – MASS) was established in December 2011 in response to the growing need for a unified voice representing the interests of minority shareholders and retail investors in Malta. At its first General Meeting, held in Feb

ruary 2012, the Association approved its Statute and elected its first Committee. MASS was subsequently registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations and assigned the enrolment number VO/0629. The Statute was later amended in 2017 and 2025 to reflect the evolving needs and objectives of the Association.629.
