We're once again reminded how much of a difference your continued support makes.

These BCRS collections help us keep up with the ongoing needs of our foster cats, while allowing us to put our resources towards other aspects of their care. Every voucher earned is valuable, and every collection helps. 🐱

Of course, a huge thank you goes to everyone who takes the time to save their bottles for us, and to our dedicated volunteers who do the collecting and depositing. There's quite a bit of work involved, and we truly appreciate every effort. ❤️

If you have BCRS bottles piling up at home, please don't forget about us! Simply send us a private message and we'll arrange a collection. 🧡♻️🐾

❤️ THREE LITTLE LIVES, ONE SECOND CHANCE – MISTRA RESCUE ❤️

These three beautiful little souls were found all alone in Mistra, a location where, unfortunately, there is currently no volunteer feeder looking after the cats. In fact earlier this year, some cats were trapped and placed into a local shelter and others homed.

They would have been exposed to the dangers of street life, including harassment from un-neutered male cats, the risk of becoming pregnant and having litters of their own, and the harsh conditions that come with the approaching winter.

Carol, one of our wonderful Mellieha volunteer feeders, stepped in, went to Mistra and rescued all three kittens. She has now welcomed them into her home to foster them, giving them the safety, warmth and care they desperately needed.

Thanks to her, these little ones now have the chance to grow, thrive and eventually find loving families of their own.

They will be taken for a Vet check-up next week and, once ready, will be looking for their very own forever homes🏡

A huge THANK YOU to Carol for opening her home and her heart to these three babies. Sometimes, one person deciding to step in can change the entire future of three little lives ❤️🩶❤️

🐾 CHARLIE UPDATE – OUR SPECIAL LITTLE BOY OF 2026!

Our little fighter Charlie had another veterinary visit last Thursday, where X-rays were carried out on his front leg and also on his chest, as unfortunately his breathing wasn't quite normal while he was under anaesthesia.

The X-rays revealed that Charlie has an old fracture in his front paw hence the limp. Thankfully, it is already healing on its own, but our Vet has recommended keeping him inside a recovery cage for the next 4 weeks to restrict his movement and allow the fracture to heal properly.

On top of this, Charlie has been prescribed another course of antibiotics and medication to treat possible internal parasites, as one of the suspected causes of his breathing difficulties could be lungworms.

Poor little baby Charlie... 🥺 So much suffering for such a young soul. But we are not giving up on him!

We are doing everything within our means. A very special thank you goes to his fosterer Emilia, who continues to look after him so lovingly, keeping him cosy, comfortable, well-fed and surrounded by affection.

And a Huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported his journey so far, through Vet contributions , kind messages, encouragement and prayers. Your support really makes a difference, especially with cases like Charlie's, where veterinary care is ongoing.

Charlie might have a long road to recovery ahead, but he is safe, he is loved, and he is finally receiving the care he deserves. One day at a time, little one. Everyone is rooting for you ❤️

🧸🤎 NOT EVEN ONE MESSAGE FOR TIGGER? WE REALLY CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY!

Our sweet Tigger the Teddy is still waiting for someone to notice him. Not a single person has messaged to enquire about adopting him. And honestly, we just don't understand!

Just look at this handsome boy! He's only ONE YEAR OLD, incredibly sweet, affectionate and a little cuddle bear who would love nothing more than to have his own human to love.

He still has a whole lifetime ahead of him, perhaps 15–20 years of cuddles, companionship and unconditional love to give. All he needs is someone willing to give him that chance.

He's neutered, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. Ready for his second chance to live with a family who won't abandon him a second time.

🐾 FREE FOR ADOPTION, NOT FOR SALE 🐾

We aren't looking for just anyone. We're looking for the right family, one that will cherish him and make him part of their lives forever. Please don't let Tigger be overlooked. Share his post, spread the word and help us find the family he deserves.

Surely there's someone out there who needs a little Tigger the Teddy in their life? 🧸🤎

Your empty bottles do so much good. They help us provide the everyday essentials our foster cats and kittens need. 🐱❤️

It might not seem like much when you're putting aside one or two bottles at a time, but before you know it, those bottles have turned into food, litter and a little less pressure on the resources needed to care for our cats while they wait for their forever homes.

We're so grateful to everyone who continues to save their bottles for us, and to our wonderful volunteers who take care of collecting and depositing them. Without this teamwork, none of these collections would be possible.

So, if you've got BCRS bottles accumulating at home, please think of our cats before getting rid of them! Send us a private message and we'll happily arrange a collection. 🧡♻️🐱

🐾 CHARLIE UPDATE – OUR LITTLE FIGHTER NEEDS YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS 🙏

Our little Charlie is still fighting, and we are doing everything we can to help him get better.

Since our last post, we have taken Charlie for another two veterinary check-ups, and he is due for another visit this Thursday. Unfortunately, we are still concerned about the lameness in his front leg, and our Vet has advised us to proceed with an X-ray under sedation to investigate what might be causing the problem.

In the meantime, our wonderful fosterer Emilia is doing her absolute best to make sure Charlie feels safe, loved and comfortable. She is keeping him cosy and warm, giving him plenty of cuddles and TLC, and making sure his little tummy is always full. We are so grateful to her for opening her home and heart to this precious boy.

It's not an easy case, and there are still many unanswered questions. As much as we wish we could take away all his discomfort and see him running around like any other kitten, we need to take things one step at a time and find out what is wrong so we can give him the care he needs.

🙏 Please keep Charlie in your thoughts and prayers and A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the kind followers and beautiful souls who have already supported Charlie's case. We truly appreciate every single one of you.

Keep fighting, little Charlie. You are loved, you are safe, and we are right here beside you.

Tigger the Teddy 🧸 that's what his volunteer feeder Claire named him 🤎

He's FREE for Adoption and NOT for Sale.

We have neutered him, microchipped and also gave him flea and worms treatment. He's now ready for a good and loving home. A family who wish to adopt a lap cat. Sweet , lovable and handsome. Three in one , which is a rarity! He's only one year old. So young and has a lifetime ahead of him. A commitment for the next 15-20 years and this time forever ♾️

There's an interview prior to booking him for adoption. Please share him far and wide so we find the perfect match for him 🤎🧸

🐾❤️ SIX LIVES SAVED FROM A DANGEROUS BYPASS IN MGARR ❤️🐾

This week, Lydia, one of our regular and trusted fosterers, contacted Tiziana after discovering a mummy cat and her five beautiful kittens living in severe danger on a bypass in Mgarr 💔 Every day, their little lives were at risk of being run over...

Although we are already FULL TO THE BRIM and overwhelmed with rescue cases 😞 we simply couldn't turn our backs and leave this little family to face such danger.

Thankfully, our trusted and regular fosterers, Albert and Antonia, agreed to take them in temporarily 🙏

With the help of other residents in the street, Lydia managed to safely trap all six cats and bring them out of danger. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

The five kittens look healthy so far, and they are absolutely beautiful! Their mummy did an amazing job protecting them, and she was understandably very protective of her babies. To give the kittens the best chance of becoming friendly, confident little cats, we decided to separate them so we could begin their socialisation.

Mummy has also been neutered this week. Sadly, she cannot return to a bypass where her life would be at risk every single day, so we will be looking for a safer place for her to live...

🏡 The five kittens will be looking for loving homes from next week, once they have settled in and become calmer.

Six lives that could have been lost are now safe. That's why we keep doing what we do, for their sake and safety 🐾❤️
