MUYA works in the field of developing culture, education, science and communication and spreading the ideas of UNESCO amongst youth and grown up population in Malta and internationally through organisation of programs and projects including:-

* training courses
* seminars
* exchanges

on an national and international level and through the publishing of diverse literature. The objectives of the Association are the following:

* to develop UNESCO priorities in the fields of education, science, culture and communication
* spreading the ideas and priorities of UNESCO among youth and general public locally, regionally and internationally;
* unite representatives of different social, age and ethnic groups for following the ideas of humanism tolerance and non-discrimination;
* publishing and distribution of diverse literature of scientific, cultural and didactic character;
* organisation of didactic courses and camps;
* organisation of and participation in educational, cultural, social and professional international exchanges, seminars and conferences
* creation of thematic libraries, student and youth organisations in line with the priorities outlined in this statute;
* development of scientific, cultural and didactic values through the organisation of conferences, exhibitions, seminars and other events;
* formation and development of the standards of culture and behaviour;

How great it was to be a part of the 'Together We Shine' event yesterday!

Following our training course CTRL+ALT+Reset, organised by Make it Happen in Agros, Cyprus, where MUYA along with other partners discussed loneliness among youths and youth workers, we came back to Malta with various skills to contribute to in this event.

Through discussing volunteering with children and loneliness with youths and young adults, CTRL+ALT+Reset participants engaged the public in healthy discussions, bounced ideas off each other and tackled several causes, amplifiers as well as what can alleviate the feeling of loneliness among each other. We also got to talk about the world of volunteering and how helping each other can contribute to more connected and included communities, along with what we discussed in our training course.

A big thank you to the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector MCVS Malta for organising a day where we got to join other local organisations and children, youth and families across Malta. Well done to all the organisations and people that participated in this event, we look forward to others in the future!

U s-serata mużiko-letterarja għall-proġett Ismagħni Ftit ġiet fi tmiemha wkoll! 🥹

Avveniment li ilna tant nħejju flimkien mal- tal-Malti ilbieraħ ħa l-ħajja permezz tal-arti fil-forom kollha tagħha ... kant, żfin, teatru, letteratura! Serata mimlija talent żgħażugħ mill-aqwa, fejn ilkoll inġbarna fit- Salesjan sabiex nirrikonoxxu l-importanza tas-saħħa mentali 💚

Matul is-serata ġew ippreżentati l-aħjar tliet kitbiet taħt kull waħda mill-kategoriji tal-poeżiji, in-novelli u d-drammi, filwaqt li ngħata rikonoxximent lill-parteċipanti kollha li ħadu sehem fil-konkors letterarju li nedejna aktar kmieni din is-sena. Prosit mill-ġdid lil kull wieħed u waħda minnkom! ✍️ 🥰

Radd ta' ħajr speċjali lill-membri tal-ġurija esperta tagħna - Fabio Scicluna, Sephora Francalanza, Bradley Cachia u Claudia Gauci - tax-xogħol bir-reqqa tagħhom! 🙏

Nirringrazzjaw b'mod speċjali lill-mistiedna distinti li għoġobhom jonorawna bil-preżenza tagħhom. Grazzi lil Dr Simone Inguanez mill- Arts Council Malta, lil Dr. Mark Xuereb u lil Prof Denis Vella Baldacchino mill-Office of the Commissioner for Mental Health - Malta tal-interventi tagħhom waqt is-serata, kif ukoll lill-MP Eve Borg Bonello tal-preżenza tagħha. 🙏

Grazzi wkoll tmur lil Klara Vassallo tal-interpretazzjoni mill-isbaħ tal-kitba tagħha "The Black Dog" kif ukoll lil Marija Bellia tal-kanzunetti mill-isbaħ li qasmet magħna! 💃 🎤 🎧

Radd ta' ħajr ukoll lill- Council for the Voluntary Sector u lill-Ministeru għall-Inklużjoni u s-Settur Voluntarju hekk kif, grazzi għall-iskema VOPS li jamministraw, din il-ħolma saret realtà.

Fl-aħħar iżda mhux l-anqas, nirringrazzjaw lill-membri taż-żewġ kumitati tal-għaqdiet involuti, b'mod speċjali lill-koordinaturi ta' dan il-proġett Reece Delia għall-għaqda MUYA u Nicole Bartolo għall-Għaqda tal-Malti li nvestew tant ħin sabiex jiżguraw li l-proġett jitwettaq kif xieraq!

Kompli segwuna fix-xhur li ġejjin hekk kif inħabbru l-passi li jmiss ta' dan il-proġett u grazzi mill-ġdid lil kull wieħed u waħda minnkom li jkomplu jappoġġawna! 😍
