Day 6 - Step into the Role - Malta

The final day of the training was dedicated to retrospective look at the practical experience gained from preparing and facilitating their own larp activities, which was followed by a reflective walk and looking back at the whole week and, of course, looking forward into follow-up activities, potential partnerships and future opportunities in the field of Erasmus+.

Day 4 - Step into the Role - Malta

The day was dedicated to looking into the design of nano-games, a distinct genre of roleplays that allows you to experience roleplaying in a very short time. Once groups chose their level of challenge to either design a game from scratch or adapt an existing game, the participants went on a deserved local discovery of Maltese realities. During the day participants got to know the youth work context of Malta, the historical heritage of Mdina, and a community event at the Golden Bay.

Working on presence, perspective-taking, and confidence as well as partner work made the first half of the day active and playful. In the afternoon we looked into the algorithm of facilitating creative processes and creating safer spaces for risk-taking and learning.

Day 2 - Step into the Role - Malta

The training day was fully dedicated to discovering improvisation techniques and roleplay activities. We looked at some core skills a facilitator needs to have through the prism of improvisational games and then dived deep into “Emotional”, a live-action roleplay game exploring emotions and their impact on our actions.
