🌄 Day 2 – Path Journeys Begin! 🇵🇹
On Saturday, all Path groups officially kicked off their adventures across Portugal! 🚶‍♀️🌍

With each group taking a unique route, the day brought its share of ups and downs but through it all, scouts are embracing the challenge, building unforgettable experiences and forming lifelong friendships. 💪🤝

This is what the World Scout Moot is all about growing together, exploring the world, and making memories that last a lifetime.

🎉 Opening Ceremony – 16th World Scout Moot 2025 🌍
On Friday, all 13 participants and the Head of Contingent proudly joined the opening ceremony of the 16th World Scout Moot in Lisbon, Portugal! 🇵🇹✨

Following the inspiring kickoff, our 6 groups set off on their exciting Path Journeys, ready to explore, learn, and connect with fellow scouts from around the world. 🌲🛤️

Now that the is officially open, we are heading on our paths!

Every Maltese group will join other international scouts on different paths through Portugal. From the castled city of Sintra, to the valleys of Drave, the Maltese contingent are on their way to an adventure of a lifetime.

Our badge, scarf, and merch were designed by us, the Maltese contingent,and every bit of it means something.

Turtles that nest on our beaches, fossils found across the islands, and a nod to our heritage with maduma tile patterns throughout.

We brought a piece of Malta with us to Portugal 🇲🇹➡️🇵🇹

🌟 HoC Spotlight: Daniel Catania 🌟

🎉 20 years in Scouting

Daniel joined Scouts to challenge himself, contribute his time and skills to the community, and be part of a team that’s working toward something greater.

What draws him to international events is the opportunity to connect with Scouts from around the world, share stories, and experience how Scouting takes shape across different cultures. It’s a powerful way for him to feel part of a global movement united by common values.

His best scouting memories nationally are, hosting MedJam18 and the IC Forum 2024. Internationally, some of his best memories come from Academy 2017, Agora 2019, being part of the EJ2020 and WSJ2027 planning teams, Wędrownicza Watra 2022, Kander100 in 2023, and serving as CMT at Roverway 2024.

🌟 Member Spotlight: Stephanie Paris 🌟
📍 Xgħajra Scout Group
🎉 14 years in Scouting

Steph was drawn to scouting, because she used to set up camps in her living room, and dreaming of great adventures. So she joined scouts to experience the excitement and challenges of scouting for real.

After an incredible experience at Agora 2024 in Sweden, where she got to meet scouts from all across Europe, many of whom she's still friends with today, she found the Moot as a perfect opportunity to experience that again.

Her favourite scouting memory is rewarding her Troop section the yearly awards. It made her pause and reflect on how not long ago, she was in their spot, and now she gets to lead the young scouts. This moment reminded her how far she has come, and how special it is to give back to the same section that shaped her.
