The Sisters of St Monica We are the Augustinian Sisters in Malta better known as The Sisters of St Monica as we have our scho And so we started.

Our goal is to give a holistic formation to children and youth through education, accompaniment and spirituality. We, the Sisters of St Monica, are fully dedicated to our mission: serving the Church through evangelisation of children and youth. Our Mother Foundress is Maria Teresa Spinelli who as a young lady, realized that in Frosinone, Italy, there was no education for girls and she was the firs

t to start this venture by gathering two prostitutes from the street. She later felt a great desire to dedicate herself totally to God in this mission and so became a Sister with some of her friends who were teaching with her at that time.
