𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

由牛房倉庫主辦EXiM 2025：「時間與運動」——實驗影像展覽，將於5月17日下午4點在紐曼樞機藝文館開幕。

是次活動策展人李少莊邀請來自兩岸四地和里斯本的11位藝術家，包括陳依純、董鈞、何淑瀅、劉景愉、羅禾淋、江沙路、文晶瑩、吳文政、黃雅諾、黃淑賢和楊晨。參展作品分別安排在兩個展廳，其中一個展廳的作品，無論在視覺語彙和敘事內容上，皆較為貼近日常的生活場景，與我們身處環境中的人、事、物展開直接對話。從熟悉的食物、城中的街道、自然的風景，到早已無聲滲透生活的雲端網路，創作者運用人、畫筆、冰塊，甚至個人資訊去描畫、重構和揭露生活的另一番面貌。讓我們審視真實與虛擬空間、現在和過去、有效和無效、人和空間的拉鋸與博弈。而另一個展覽廳的作品則具備超強的符號化意象畫面。那些如夢般奇幻的絢麗場景、斷裂性的聲畫效果、超現實的感官世界，以衝擊甚至挑釁的姿態考驗著我們的感知與情緒，並試圖引領觀者沉浸在那些由藝術家悉心構建的視覺境域和似是而非的語境之中。展期由5月18日起至6月22日（逢週二及公眾假期休館）。

𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

EXiM 2025: ‘Time and Movement’— Experimental Moving Image Exhibition, organised by Ox Warehouse, will open at the Centro de Cultura e Artes Performativas Cardeal Newman de Macau at 16:00 on May 17.

Curator Bianca Lei has invited 11 artists from Cross-Strait regions and Portugal, including I-chun Chen, D**g Jun, Elaine Ho, Keng-U Lao, He-Lin Luo, Gonçalo Magalhães, Phoebe Man, Jinn Ng, Felix Vong, Elaine Wong and Yang Chen. The participating artworks are displayed in two exhibition halls. The works in one exhibition hall align closely with everyday life in their visual vocabulary and narrative, initiating a direct dialogue with the people, objects, and events of our environment. From familiar everyday foods and city streets to natural landscapes and the cloud networks that have quietly permeated contemporary existence, the artists employ figures, paintbrushes, ice, and even personal data to draw, reconstruct, and reveal a different facet of life. They invite us to examine the tug-of-war between real and virtual spaces, past and present, efficiency and futility, and the interplay between humanity and space. Meanwhile, the works in the other space are characterised by powerful, highly symbolic imagery. Their dreamlike, fantastical scenes, fractured audiovisual effects, and surreal sensory worlds test our perceptions and emotions through impact or provocation. They seek to immerse the audience in meticulously constructed visual realms and paradoxical contexts. The exhibition runs from May 18 to June 22 (closed on Tuesdays and public holidays).

〚 動態影像打破藝術「永恆靜止」的邊界，從二維／三維轉入第四維度——「時間」。〛

「時間」和「運動」構成動態影像的本質和素材，賦予創作者主導時間的權力，透過拍攝、剪輯與特效技術將時間延展或壓縮，甚至打碎時間的邏輯，將過去、現在和未來重疊，使時間不再是單向演進的直線，而是可以被剪裁、倒置或無限循環。

〚 Moving images break through the boundaries of art’s ‘eternal stillness,’ transitioning from two and three dimensions into the fourth dimension—‘time.’ 〛

‘Time’ and ‘Movement’ constitute the inherent essence and material of moving image works. Beyond possessing an inevitable temporal duration, moving image art enables artists to manipulate time itself. Through filming or editing techniques, time can be stretched, compressed, or its logic disrupted—overlapping past, present, and future. Time is no longer a linear progression; instead, it can be edited, inverted, or infinitely looped.

❝ Ten women are showcasing their art pieces at the Former Municipal Cattle Stable at the junction of Avenida do Coronel Mesquita (美副將大馬路) and Avenida do Almirante Lacerda (罅些喇提督大馬路) until April 19, challenging traditional gender roles and social expectations while aiming to redefine the “golden ratio” with a female perspective.

Throughout the gallery are a raft of works created using different mediums, all presented with a style or concept in accordance with their respective artist, giving visitors an atmospheric experience. Dissonant sounds from installations and videos play amidst the quiet background of the venue, which has warm and low lighting.

整個展廳陳列大量運用不同媒材創作的作品，每件作品皆展現出符合藝術家風格或概念的獨特面貌，營造出沉浸式的氛圍體驗。在展場溫暖而柔和的低光環境中，裝置藝術與影片所發出的不協調聲響，於寧靜的背景中交織迴盪。

A statement from the exhibition organisers described the golden ratio as a gauge of beauty. According to the statement, standards like this were historically shaped mainly by men in different fields, not women. Focusing on appearance is often disconnected from women’s health, comfort, and lived reality. As tastes, traditions and values shift, women are subtly pressured to meet narrow ideals – affecting their sense of happiness, the statement points out. Over time, these expectations become difficult to break free from, limiting women’s freedom to define themselves. The works create a dialogue and redefine the idea.

展覽方在策展文中將「黃金比例」描述為衡量美的標準，在歷史上主要由各個領域的男性所塑造，而非女性。並指出，「黃金比例」過度關注外貌，往往與女性的健康、舒適感及生活現實脫節。隨著品味、傳統與價值觀的轉變，女性正承受著微妙的壓力，被迫符合狹隘的理想標準，這影響她們的幸福感。隨著時間推移，這些期待變得難以擺脫，限制女性自我定義的自由。這些藝術作品開啟一場對話，並重新定義這個概念。 ❞

趙歡（成都）

策展人、藝術家。畢業於荷蘭HKU視覺藝術學院、英國皇家自由大學藝術學碩士雙學位。創辦re-C Art Space及何多苓美術館，並成為「共生」公共藝術項目和女性主義跨學科廠牌「C.sth藝術小組」的發起人。長期在給藝術家交流支持及互動發聲做實驗性推動。

用推進自己的策展理念，從傳統機構主導展覽內容向更加注重藝術家和策展人自發性與主動性的轉變。在這一過程中，藝術家和策展人通過自發組織展覽，是藝術多元主動發展的關鍵動力。

黃詠思（澳門）

澳門大學英文傳意系畢業，曾任文化版記者及編輯，現為自由文字工作者、劇評人、策展人，同時涉足多個領域，如刺繡、插畫及舞台設計等。近年參與策展項目有《我與誰同在：李艾筱》、《澳門國際現場藝術節 MIPAF》（2022及2024年）、《臨時：澳門劇場文件展二〇二四》、《Re Cycle：澳門劇場文件展2021》、「第一屆澳門紀錄片競賽暨展覽」等。

〘 ᴄᴜʀᴀᴛᴏʀꜱ' ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜɪᴇꜱ 〙

Zhao Huan (Chengdu)

Curator & Artist. Graduated from the Utrecht Graduate School of Visual Art and Design MA Fine Arts in the Netherlands, and obtained a dual master's degree in art from the Royal Free University in the UK. Founder of re-C Art Space and He Duoling Art Museum. Initiator of the Symbiosis public art project and C.sth Art Group, an interdisciplinary feminist art label. Long dedicated to experimental practices supporting artistic exchange, collaboration, and collective voice.

Continuously advancing curatorial concepts, shifting from traditional institution-led exhibition content to a greater focus on the spontaneity and initiative of artists and curators. In this process, by spontaneously organizing exhibitions, artists and curators can not only present their works more objectively but also voice their perspectives in the art world. Such spontaneity serves as a key driving force for the diverse and proactive development of art.

Wendy Wong (Macau)

Graduated from the Department of English Communication at the University of Macau, previously served as a culture reporter and editor. Currently a freelance writer, theater critic, and curator, also engaged in multiple fields such as embroidery, illustration, and stage design.
Recent curatorial projects include: Who Am I With: Li Aixiao, Macau International Performance Art Festival (MIPAF, 2022 and 2024) , Temporary: Macao Theatre Documents Exhibition 2024, Re Cycle: Macao Theatre Documents Exhibition 2021, and The 1st Macao Documentary Competition and Exhibition, etc.
