Global Shapers Ulaanbaatar Hub's 2024-2025 Annual Report is officially published! 📘

Over the past year, our Global Shapers Ulaanbaatar Hub has continued to grow, adapt, and show up for the city we care about. 💙

During this period, we welcomed 12 new Shapers, worked across 11+ sectors with 30 active members, and carried forward 6 active projects. Together, Shapers contributed more than 3,900 volunteer hours, reached over 1.75M people, and collaborated with partners across civil society, the private sector, and public institutions to drive community-led impact in Ulaanbaatar.

Beyond local action, Shapers represented Mongolia at regional and global spaces including Davos, SHAPE APAC, and international retreats, while also strengthening our foundations through improved onboarding, alumni engagement, and deeper collaboration across projects.

This annual report captures a snapshot of that journey - the work, the people, and the lessons learned along the way.

📢 We’re proud to share that Enkhuun Byambadorj has been selected to take part in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos.

Enkhuun is the co-founder of Breathe Mongolia - Clean Air Coalition, a nonprofit working to transform air quality governance in Mongolia through policy advocacy, cross-sector collaboration, and public engagement to protect public health and the climate.

📊 Over the past year, her team reached 252,000+ people through national advocacy campaigns and trained 600+ young people in environmental action and leadership.

🗣️ At the Annual Meeting, Enkhuun will contribute insights on clean air governance, human rights–based climate action, and multilateral negotiations, drawing from her experience engaging in the UNFCCC process, serving on the Global Future Council on Clean Air, and advancing youth-led environmental leadership.

🌍 She is also a former Vice Curator and active Shaper of the Global Shapers Ulaanbaatar Hub, and we are very proud that she will be representing our community on the global stage.

🌐 What is the Global Shapers Community?
An Initiative of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of Hubs developed and led by young people under the age of 27 who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements, and their drive to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 11,400 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 509 city-based hubs in 155 countries.

Who should apply?🧐
✅ You are between 18 and 27 years old (born between Sept 1st 1998 - Sep 1st 2007).
✅ Must be a permanent resident of Ulaanbaatar
✅ Be eager to drive positive change in your community
✅ Be willing to commit at least 5 hours a week to Hub’s activities
✅ You want to meet and work with dynamic young people from across sectors, local and global, and be part of the World Economic Forum’s global community.
