In November 2025, KRSA set off on our first global education journey to Mongolia.

It was our first time visiting Mongolia and also our first time joining MERA’s inaugural conference, so we were both excited and a little nervous.

But the connections we made there with the MERA delegation and English educators didn’t end in Mongolia.

This time, we invited them to Seoul — and we’re excited to announce that the President and delegation of MERA, the Mongolian Extensive Reading Association, will be joining the KRSA Global Reading Conference · Seoul 2026! 🎉

They’re now busy preparing for their trip to Korea, including the visa process and, of course, their conference presentations.

And they’re not coming just to attend.

They’ll be sharing what English education looks like in Mongolia, how Extensive Reading has been growing there, and the real experiences they’ve built along the way.

KRSA Global Reading Conference 2026 - Open to Mongolian Educators✨

Mongolian teachers and education professionals are invited to register for the KRSA Global Reading Conference 2026, themed "The Next 10 Years of Reading Education."

The conference will explore the future of English reading education in the AI era, Extensive Reading research and practice, and international training experience, connecting educators, researchers and institutions worldwide.

🎉 A remarkable event for Mongolian Students! 🇲🇳

The 11th KRSA Global Literacy Competition was successfully held with the participation of 130 Mongolian students from 22 different schools on April 18. 2026! 📚🌏
Our students gained a unique and valuable international experience, exchanging ideas and sharing their reading journeys with Korean peers. 🌍✨

All participants joined with full scholarships, covering the 50,000 KRW entry fee, making this opportunity accessible to every student thanks to Lingors and the Korean Reading Specialists Association (KRSA) partnership.

👏 Congratulations to all participating students for your dedication and achievement.
A heartfelt thank you to the teachers as well, for encouraging your students to take part and supporting their preparation within such a short preparation period.
We are incredibly proud of you all!

2026 оны 4 сарын 18ны өдөр БНСУ-ын Унших Аргазүйн Мэргэжилтэнгүүдийн Холбооноос зохион байгуулсан 11 дахь удаагийн ОУ-ын Англи Хэл дээрх уран зохиолын тэмцээнд Монгол Улсаас 22 сургуулийн 130 сурагч амжилттай оролцож, олон улсад мэдлэг, чадвараа сорин, Солонгосын үе тэнгийн сурагчидтай туршлага солилцлоо. 🌍✨

The Mongolian Extensive Reading Association (MERA) has officially become an Associate Member of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language(IATEFL).🎉

Alongside the Mongolian Association of Teachers of English, MERA is now the second organization from Mongolia to obtain official IATEFL membership, further strengthening professional support for teacher development in the country.

IATEFL is a prestigious international organization that brings together English language teacher
associations from 126 countries worldwide. It collaborates with leading global educationalinstitutions such as Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, British Council,
Pearson, and Duolingo.

It also has many years of experience supporting international
