🎉 Mozzies AGM 2026 – Democracy, Inclusivity, and Respect in Action 🇲🇳🇦🇺

On May 19, 2026, the Mongolia–Australia Society (Mozzies) proudly held its Annual General Meeting at GAPE Academy, Ulaanbaatar.

Highlights of the evening:
✨Opening remarks by President D. Tsogtbaatar
✨ Presentation of the 2025–2026 Annual Report by Executive Director R. Altangerel
✨ Launch of the Inclusive Chapter Project by member G. Battulga
✨ A transparent nomination and election process, with 27 candidates competing for 10 Board seats

💡 As President Tsogtbaatar reflected, this AGM marked a rare and inspiring moment where gender equality principles worked in reverse—ensuring men’s representation met the 30% threshold. One female candidate graciously withdrew to uphold balance, showing that inclusivity means fairness for all.

🤝 The spirit of mutual respect, compromise, and healthy dialogue shone throughout, proving that democracy flourishes when guided by transparency and community service.

A heartfelt thank you to all members who joined and contributed—together, we continue to strengthen the Mozzies community.

👏 We are proud to welcome our newly elected Board Members, who will carry forward our shared vision of inclusivity, transparency, and service.
