🤝 Strengthening Ties: IMCC & ICIB MoU Signing in Kolkata 🇮🇳🇲🇲

Today, IMCC and ICIB successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Kolkata, India, aimed at strengthening bilateral collaboration and promoting business engagement between the two organizations.

The programme featured:
• Welcome Address by Ms. Aayushi Rajeev Gupta, Chief Coordinator, ICIB Youth Forum
• Opening Remarks by Mrs. Tinku Rajeev Gupta, Secretary General, ICIB
• Keynote Address by H.E. U Aung Aung Myo Thein, the Consul General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar

We are deeply grateful to His Excellency for his valued and insightful address. The India Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (IMCC) is a nonprofit business association connecting and supporting trade between India & Myanmar. We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing & Public Relations Executive (2–3 Years Experience) to join our growing team!

Location: Corner of Merchant Street & Shwe Bon Thar Road, Yangon, Myanmar
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required to support events)
Salary: Negotiable (based on skills & competency)
Deadline: 20 April,2026

Role Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives, managing public relations activities, and enhancing IMCC’s communication outreach. This role requires a proactive individual with strong content creation, research, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹Execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
🔹Manage social media and create engaging content.
🔹Draft press releases and promotional materials.
🔹Organize PR events and product launches.
🔹Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports.
🔹 Provide administrative & secretariat support

Qualifications:
✅Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
✅2–3 years of experience in marketing and/or PR.
✅Strong communication skills and creative mindset.
✅Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media management.

IMCC was delighted to take part in today’s interaction with the Manipur Chamber of Commerce & Industry at India Centre, Yangon.

The session provided a valuable platform to engage in discussions on trade and economic opportunities, with the participation of Mr. Ashish Sharma, Deputy Chief of Mission, and Ms. Sowmiya, First Secretary, Embassy of India, Yangon, along with officials from Myanmar.

IMCC President, Mr. Naresh Kumar Dinodiya, ExCom Members, and IMCC members actively participated and contributing to discussions and collaboration.

ရန်ကုန်မြို့ရှိ India Centre တွင် မဏိပူရပြည်နယ် ကုန်သည်ကြီးများနှင့် စက်မှုလက်မှုလုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအသင်းတို့နှင့် ကျင်းပသည့် တွေ့ဆုံပွဲတွင် အိန္ဒိယ-မြန်မာ ကုန်သည်ကြီးများအသင်း (IMCC) အနေနှင့် ပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက်ရသည့်အတွက် ဝမ်းမြောက်မိပါသည်။

On March 7, 2026, IMCC proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA), together with partner chambers MMBC, MHKCCI, and SAM. ✍️🤝

The event brought together Executive Committee members, chamber members, business leaders, and invited guests, creating a great opportunity to connect and strengthen collaboration among the business community. The ceremony was followed by a lively networking session where participants exchanged ideas and built new relationships.
