Myanmar Hope Christian Mission https://myanmarhope.org/donate - Provide hope and help to the poor of Myanmar! We don’t just focus on meeting physical and educational needs, however.

Myanmar Hope was founded in May of 2007 in order to bring help and hope to the poverty-stricken people of Myanmar though spiritual, physical, educational, and emotional assistance. Since that time, we have delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of aid in the form of rice, agricultural equipment, clean water initiatives, housing and community development, and educational assistance. We ha

ve helped thousands of families and individuals to survive and recover from cyclones, forest fires, a rat plague, government-forced relocation, and many other humanitarian and natural disasters. Through our boarding school in Yangon we are providing dozens of children from poverty-stricken families in the tribal northwest with a high-quality, biblically-based education. In addition to the general educational subjects received at the government schools, we provide the children with training in Bible and Christianity, English, Life Skills, Health and Nutrition, and much more. Through our Christian Leadership Training seminars in the northwest, we are bringing solid Christian and family life training to hundreds of tribal pastors and elders, along with their wives, regardless of denominational background. We also provide poor tribal Christians with native-language Bibles, hymnals, songbooks, and other Christian literature. We provide ongoing monthly assistance for many of the poorest of the poor—widows, orphans, and the handicapped. As we move forward into the future, we plan on equipping the tribal Christians with even more ways to become self-sufficient, including sustainable agricultural and aqua-cultural projects, small business micro-finance loans, additional boarding schools, and much more. We are extremely passionate about helping our brothers and sisters in Myanmar to escape from the devastating cycle of poverty and oppression, and to be able to live that abundant life promised by Jesus—a life that most of us in the West now take for granted, but which is still a dream for most people in Myanmar. The only way we can accomplish this goal is by relying completely on God’s provision through the prayers and financial support of many generous individuals, churches, and other like-minded organizations. We hope and pray that you, too, will be moved by God to come alongside and partner with us in this truly magnificent, God-honoring, Kingdom-building effort. You will be blessed!

I would like to provide an update on the electrical installation.

We began purchasing electrical accessories on March 4 and started the installation on March 5, 2026. To date, we have installed the cables and lighting on the first, second, and sixth floors.

We are currently working on the most challenging part of the project: installing the main power entrance and the changeover handles to switch between government power, the generator, and solar power.

We anticipate having power restored to the first and second floors by May 9, 2026. Please see the attached photos for reference.

This is just a reminder that we should be praying every day for protection for Palal and Kikim. This morning he informed us that he was nearly hit by a speeding truck! Glory to God that he was spared.

Thank you to all who are already praying for Palal and family every day, and for all of those involved in the work of Myanmar Hope.

GOD BLESS YOU
