Vocational Orientation Program - E4Y

In Myanmar, many children are still denied the path to finish the basic schooling and already end their school education at the age of 11-13 due to financial problems. The four years E4Y-programme allows the children to continue school and therefore increases their chances to receive a compre

hensive vocational education and to get a job. The children obtain the chance to independently and actively improve their difficult life situation. As an addition to the linguistic-historical and mathematical-natural scientific subjects, technical and life practical programes are offered. Goals of E4Y
1) To give continues education in academic and vocational knowledge towards the youngsters who have to leave school early because of difficult situation and different barriers.
2) To go on vocational education at CVT.
3) To apply this knowledge in their life. Possibilities after E4Y 4-year-schooling
1) The students have more chance to get the proper job after school.
2) They can create most of the handmade products themselves and can get income.
3) With the pre-knowledge in vocational subjects helps them to follow the apprenticeship module.
4) They can have further education at Sport school (Yangon) as E4Y has the connection with that school.
5) The education level of students becomes high school level after 4 years.
