We are proud to announce that our talented student bin Mv Nazer, originally from Ywent Nyo Taung - ရွက်ညိုတောင် Village and currently residing in Camp-27, Jadimura, Cox's Bazar has achieved a remarkable success by securing the 3rd Prize in the Qur’an Competition organized by the Türkiye'deki Arakanlı Öğrenciler Birliği

He was awarded a certificate of recognition along with a cash prize of 2750 BDT for this honorable achievement.

He is currently continuing his Qur’an memorization at Hifzukhana - Mahad Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud (R), Shalbon Camp-27, where he is striving sincerely on the path of becoming a Hafiz of the Holy Qur’an.

Competing among distinguished Huffaz from the wider community, this success reflects his dedication, discipline, and strong attachment to the Book of Allah ﷻ.

As his fellow villagers, we are truly proud of his achievement and the honor he has brought to his community. May Allah ﷻ bless his efforts, strengthen his memorization, increase him in knowledge, and keep him steadfast upon the Qur’an.

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of an elderly woman, the beloved wife of Late Mohammed Hussain and the cherished mother of Mv. Abu Bakker. She returned to Allah today at around 4:00 AM in Jadimura, Camp-27, Teknaf.

Her Janazah (funeral prayer) will be held at 1:30 PM after Zuhr prayer at the nearby cemetery in Jadimura. For further information, kindly contact the guardian at +880 1404-184524.

All members of the community from every village are sincerely requested to attend her Janazah, offer prayers for the deceased, and stand together in unity during this time of grief.

She was originally from Ywent Nyo Taung village, Maung Daw, and was known for her kindness, patience, and deep devotion to her family and community.

May Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her Jannatul Firdaus, and bless her family with patience and strength. Please remember her in your prayers.

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of an elderly woman, the beloved wife of Late Nobi Hussain and the respected mother of Mr. (B.A.) Ali Juhar. She passed away today at 10:00 AM at Jadimura Bazar, Camp-27, Teknaf.

Her Janazah (funeral prayer) will be held at 4:50 PM this evening at Lamar Masjid, Jadimura Bazar. For further information, kindly contact the guardian at 01613-287901.

All members of the community from every village are sincerely requested to attend her Janazah, offer prayers for the deceased, and come together in unity during this difficult time.

She was originally from Ywent Nyo Taung village, Maung Daw, and was known for her kindness, patience, and devotion to her family and community.

Alhamdulillah, with the generous support and contributions from our well-wishers, YNT Youth Academy successfully distributed Eid gifts and essential items to eligible and vulnerable families as part of our Ramadan Mubarak 2026 contribution initiative.

This small effort aimed to share the blessings and joy of Eid with families in need, ensuring they could celebrate this special occasion with dignity and happiness. Seeing the smiles and gratitude of the beneficiaries was truly heart-touching.

انا لله و انا اليه راجعون

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Lokman Hakim, the respected father of our brothers Mohammed Ismail and Noor Islam. He returned to his Lord today at 4:30 PM, shortly after Asar prayer. His gentle character, generosity, and sincere nature will be remembered by all who had the honour of knowing him.

The Janazah prayer will take place tomorrow at 10:00 AM at Jadimura, Omar Faruk Madrasah Compound. We kindly request everyone to keep him in your duas. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, envelop him in His infinite mercy, and grant him the highest ranks in Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah grant strength, patience, and peace to the grieving family.

The Current View of
Ywent Nyo Taung - ရွက်ညိုတောင် Village, MDW

What once was a thriving village, now lies swallowed by time. The familiar sights of homes, families, and laughter have faded into the wind, replaced by fields where cattle graze aimlessly. The village that once hummed with life is now nothing but overgrown bushes and wild, untamed grasses, a quiet testament to its past.

Where children once played under the shade of old trees, there are only the whispering sounds of the wind cutting through the tall, untended weeds. The memories of the village feel distant, like a forgotten song, carried away by the relentless forces of nature.

ရွက်ညိုတောင် (YNT) now stands in silence, its heart seemingly lost to the earth, and the spirit of the village seems to have dissolved into the fields, leaving only a lingering sense of what was... and what could have been.
