Vision: Society prospered with human dignity, freedom, equality, justice and peace in Northern Myanmar.

The armed conflict resumed in Kachin State in 2011 has resulted in the gross human rights violations. The helpless suffering of the victims was the driving force that makes the people from different backgrounds come together and form the local human rights organization. Humanity Institute was founded on January 4, 2012 with a vision to build a society prospered with human dignity, freedom, equality, justice, and peace in Northern Myanmar. In order to achieve the vision of the organization, the working structure, the policy and human rights issues to be focused for the year of the organization are decided by the Board of Directors. There are two core units, Human Rights & Legal Department and School of Arts and Social Sciences in Executive Committee to undertake the tasks of education, legal consultation and aid, and social science research and publication. Currently, the organization is in registration process and its alternative name is "Human Rights Action Group (Northern Myanmar)".

ပထမဆုံးအကြိမ်မိုးညှင်းဒေသအသေးစားစီးပွားရေးပံ့ပိုးမှုရရှိသူများမှ အချို.သည် စက်တင်ဘာလ ၁၈ ရက်၊ မြစ်ကြီးနားတွင်ခင်းကျင်းပြသနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ ပြသခြင်းကို မိမိတို့၏SMART စီမံကိန်းမိတ်ဆက်ပွဲတွင်လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထိုသို့ပါဝင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အချင်းချင်းသင်ယူလေ့လာနိုင်ခြင်း၊ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် ကွန်ယက်ကျယ်ပြန်.လာနိုင်ခြင်းနှင့် စျေးကွက်များရရှိလာနိုင်သည့်အခွင့်အရေးများအပြင်မိမိတို့၏ဒေသယာဥ်ကျေးမှုအစားအစာ၊ ထုတ်လုပ်မှုစွမ်းရည်များကိုပြသခွင့်ရခဲ့ပါသည်။

၂၀၂၄စက်တင်ဘာလမှစတင်သည့်RELIANCE စီမံကိန်းသည် မိုးညှင်းဒေသတွင် တောင်သူများအား အဖွဲ.လိုက်အသေးစားစီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းစတင်ခြင်းအတွက် စီမံကိန်းဖြင့်အဖွဲ. ၃၀ အားပံ့ပိုးခဲ့သည်။ သာမန်တောင်သူမှ စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ဆောင်လာနိုင်ရန်ကြိုးပမ်းမှု၊ အချင်းချင်းစုဖွဲ.လုပ်ဆောင်မှုအပြင်၊ လက်ရှိ လူမှုစီးပွားအခြေအနေများကြောင့်အခက်အခဲများစွာကျော်ဖြတ်ရပါသည်။ အခက်အခဲများကြားအချို့မှာတိုးတက်မှုအသင့်အသင့်ရှိနေပြီဖြစ်သည်။ ဦးဆောင်ပံ့ပိုးသောဝန်ထမ်းများ၊ ပညာရှင်များနှင့်ပံ့ပိုးပေးသောအလှူရှင်များကို အထူးကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါသည်။

Some microenterprise grant recipients from the Mohnyin region were able to display their products in Myitkyina for the first time on September 18. The exhibition was held during the SMART project launch event. By participating, they gained opportunities to learn from one another, expand their collaborative networks, and access potential markets, while also having the chance to showcase their local cultural food and production capabilities.

Under the RELIANCE project, which began in Mohnyin region in September 2024, support was provided to 30 farmer groups to start small-scale collective businesses. Transforming from traditional farmers into business entrepreneurs required teamwork, as well as overcoming numerous challenges caused by current socio-economic conditions. Despite these difficulties, some groups are making steady progress. Special thanks go to the leading project staff, experts, and donors who provided support.

In early September, "Mazup Shayi women farmers group" who are supported in production of vegetable base natural liquid soap and other related products attained a week training on technical skills for quality improment. Thanks to our trainer, participants and project team who made this happened.

စက်တင်ဘာလဆန်းပိုင်းတွင် ဟင်းသီးဟင်းရွက်အခြေခံ သဘာဝ ရေချိုးဆပ်ပြာရည်နှင့်ဆက်စပ်ထုတ်ကုန်များ ထုတ်လုပ်မှုအတွက် ပံ့ပိုးကူညီမှုရရှိထားသော "မဇွပ်ရှရီ အမျိုးသမီးတောင်သူများအဖွဲ့သည်" အရည်အသွေး တိုးတက်ကောင်းမွန်လာစေရန် နည်းပညာပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှု သင်တန်းကို တစ်ပတ်ကြာ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။ ဤသင်တန်းဖြစ်မြောက်အောင် ကူညီပေးခဲ့ကြသော နည်းပြ၊ သင်တန်းသားများနှင့် စီမံကိန်းအဖွဲ့ဝင်များ အားလုံးကို ကျေးဇူးအထူးတင်ရှိပါသည်။

In Myitkyina, the first SMEs mapping workshop was conducted on September 18 afternoon with the potential SMEs under SMART project. The majority of participants are mainly from Waing Maw and Myitkyina. Mapping will be importantly contributed for value chain analysis and identifying most relevant SMEs for supporting which are inline with our project objectives. Further, it will be conducted in Mogong, Mohnyin, Tanai, and Putao. Thanks to our facilitators who led mapping session and SMEs who participated in it.

မြစ်ကြီးနားမြို့မှာ SMART စီမံကိန်းအောက်က ဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေရှိတဲ့ အသေးစားနှင့် အလတ်စား စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းရှင် (SME) တွေနဲ့ ပထမအကြိမ် ဆန်းစစ်လေ့လာခြင်း (mapping) ကို စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၈ ရက် မွန်းလွဲပိုင်းမှာ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်သူ အများစုဟာ အဓိကအားဖြင့် ဝိုင်းမော်နဲ့ မြစ်ကြီးနားမြို့တွေက ဖြစ်ကြပါတယ်။

ဒီဆန်းစစ်လေ့လာခြင်းဟာ တန်ဖိုးကွင်းဆက် လေ့လာဆန်းစစ်ခြင်း (value chain analysis) အတွက်နဲ့ စီမံကိန်း ရည်မှန်းချက်တွေနဲ့ ကိုက်ညီပြီး အထောက်အပံ့ ပေးဖို့ အသင့်တော်ဆုံး SME တွေကို ဖော်ထုတ်ရာမှာ အဓိက အထောက်အကူပြုမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ဒီလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်ကို မိုးကောင်း၊ မိုးညှင်း၊ တနိုင်းနဲ့ ပူတာအိုမြို့တို့မှာလည်း ဆက်လက် ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

SMART project orientation for SME and farmers was held on September 18 in Myitkyina. The project orientation was conducted with the stakeholders who are CSOs, INGO, UN and Business schools, and potential target beneficiaries such as SMEs and farmers from Myitkyina, Waing Maw, Mogaung, Mohnyin, Tanai and Putoa areas.

The project name is Small and Medium Enterprise for Agri-foos Resilience and Transformation in Kachin State (SMART) and it is 2 years project. Relevant SMEs were invited to display their products and exchanged their works. We deeply thank to our organizers and project team who organize the participants, and partner and donor who supported us.

မြစ်ကြီးနားမြို့တွင် စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၈ ရက်နေ့က SME များနှင့် တောင်သူများအတွက် SMART စီမံကိန်း မိတ်ဆက်ရှင်းလင်းပွဲ (Orientation) ကို ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ စီမံကိန်း မိတ်ဆက်ရှင်းလင်းပွဲကို လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ (CSOs)၊ နိုင်ငံတကာ အစိုးရမဟုတ်သောအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ (INGO)၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ (UN) နှင့် စီးပွားရေးသင်တန်းကျောင်းများ ဖြစ်ကြသည့် သက်ဆိုင်ရာ ပါဝင်ပတ်သက်သူများ၊ ထို့ပြင် မြစ်ကြီးနား၊ ဝိုင်းမော်၊ မိုးကောင်း၊ မိုးညှင်း၊ တနိုင်းနှင့် ပူတာအို ဒေသများမှ SME များနှင့် တောင်သူများ ကဲ့သို့သော အကျိုးခံစားခွင့်ရရှိနိုင်မည့် ပစ်မှတ်ပြည်သူများနှင့်အတူ ကျင်းပခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

စီမံကိန်း၏ အမည်မှာ "ကချင်ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း စိုက်ပျိုးရေးနှင့် အစားအစာ ကဏ္ဍကြံ့ကြံ့ခံနိုင်စွမ်းနှင့် အသွင်ကူးပြောင်းရေးအတွက် အသေးစားနှင့် အလတ်စား စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းများ စီမံကိန်း (SMART)" ဖြစ်ပြီး ၂ နှစ်ကြာ ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် စီမံကိန်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ပွဲစဉ်အတွင်း သက်ဆိုင်ရာ SME လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များကိုလည်း မိမိတို့၏ ထုတ်ကုန်များကို လာရောက်ပြသရန်နှင့် လုပ်ငန်းဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များကို အပြန်အလှန် ဖလှယ်ကြရန် ဖိတ်ခေါ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်သူများကို စုစည်းပေးခဲ့ကြသော ပွဲစီစဉ်သူများနှင့် စီမံကိန်းအဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၊ ထို့ပြင် ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးခဲ့ကြသော မိတ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် အလှူရှင်များကိုလည်း အထူးပင် ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါသည်။

In this afternoom, We have conducted consultation meeting with HI's founding members and advisory team members on organizational developement. We have exchanged progress, challenges and ways to overcome. The participants have joine both in person and online. Thanks to our members who joined and contributed their insights.

မိုးညင်းဒေသရှိမိမိတို.နှင့်လက်တွဲလက်လုပ်ဆောင်လေ့ရှိသောဒေသစေတနာ့ ဝန်ထမ်းတစ်ဦးဖြစ်သူ ဒေါ်စုစုမိုးမှ
စက်တင်ဘာလ ပထမပတ်အတွင်း ဒေသကျောင်းများရှိ ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသား ၄၀၀ ခန့်အား သဘာဝ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အမြင်ဖွင့်အစီစဥ်ကို ပြုလုပ်န်ိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ သူမသည် ဒေသတွင်း သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာအမြင်ဖွင့်မှုလုပ်ငန်းစဥ်တွင် အားကိုးရသောဒေသအရင်းအမြစ်အဖြစ်ဦးဆောင်ပါဝင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့်မိမိတို့မှသူမ၏လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်မှုအတွက်များစွာဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းသာမိပါသည်။

During the first week of September, Daw Su Su Moe, a dedicated local volunteer who frequently collaborates with us in the Mohnyin region, successfully provided environmental awareness to 400 students in local schools. She continues to lead as a trusted community resource in raising local environmental awareness. Therefore, we are immensely proud and delighted by her achievements.

During the first week of September, a two-day staff orientation and recruitment workshop was successfully conducted for new colleagues entering the workplace, colleagues taking on new responsibilities, and an intern. The orientation covered organizational background, policy and procedures, administration, and project-related topics. Heartfelt thanks go to responsible personnel, and all participants involved.

In the last week of August, three project officials met at the office with members of "Ma Zup Shayi" (Myitsone Region Women Farmers Group), a consumer goods producer that received MSME support. During the meeting, they cordially discussed the current status of business operations and explored the value-added capacity-building training required by the group.
