🌊 Emergency Flood Relief Mission to Shan Su Village (Hinthada Township) by Mercy Heart 🙏

Today, the team from Mercy Heart successfully traveled to Shan Su Village in Hinthada Township to deliver urgent emergency assistance to families heavily affected by the devastating floods.

Navigating through challenging conditions, our dedicated team members directly distributed essential food supplies and emergency aid into the hands of the villagers who were cut off and in critical need of support.

Emergency Medical Supplies: Essential medicines to safeguard public health.

🛶 A Generous Donation to Empower Local Rescue Efforts! 🙏

We are proud to share that Dr. Thu Zar, Founder of Mercy Heart, along with her family, has donated a motorboat directly to the local rescue workers who are actively carrying out flood relief operations on the ground.

During this severe flooding, transportation is the biggest obstacle. A motorboat is currently the most critical and urgently needed asset for these local volunteers to navigate through dangerous waters, rescue stranded residents, and safely deliver emergency aid to remote communities.

This noble donation from Dr. Thu Zar’s family will immensely empower the local rescue team to expand their reach and save more lives efficiently.

📝 Flood Relief Activity Report

🌊 Emergency Flood Relief Mission by Mercy Heart 🙏

📍 Target Villages: Bae Pauk, Kywe Lan Su, and Chaung Phyar Villages (Hinthada Township)

Today, the team from Mercy Heart traveled to the flood-affected and hard-to-reach villages of Bae Pauk, Kywe Lan Su, and Chaung Phyar in Hinthada Township to deliver essential aid.

We learned that these villages have suffered devastating losses, with vast acres of agricultural and farmland completely destroyed by the floods. To make matters worse, these isolated communities have received almost no external assistance or aid from other relief groups until our arrival. In response to their urgent needs, Mercy Heart directly distributed essential relief supplies, including:

* Rice & Food Items: Sustenance for families facing severe food shortages.
* Emergency Medical Supplies: Essential medicines to prevent and treat waterborne illnesses.
* Solar Power Banks: Providing much-needed electricity and connectivity for stranded residents.
* Snacks & Biscuits: Comfort and nutrition for children and families.
* Clean Purified Water: Ensuring safe drinking water to protect health.

Mercy Heart remains firmly committed to identifying and prioritizing remote, hard-to-reach villages that are often overlooked by mainstream donors. Our goal is to ensure that our relief efforts are delivered effectively to those who are genuinely left behind and in the most critical need.
