Food & Cash Assistance for IDPs and Vulnerable Host Communities(FSP)

On 15th December 2025, Mayyu Rescue (MR) successfully completed the fourth phase of rice and cash distributions among targeted IDP and host community families in Buthidaung under its Food Security Project.

The objective of the project is to enhance food security among IDP and vulnerable host community families in selected villages by providing emergency rice and cash assistance to help them obtain essential food items and meet their immediate needs.

Food & Cash Assistance for IDPs and Vulnerable Host Communities(FSP)

On 13th October 2025, Mayyu Rescue (MR) successfully completed the third phase of rice and cash distributions among targeted IDP and host community families in Buthidaung and Maungdaw under its Food Security Project.

The objective of the project is to enhance food security among IDP and vulnerable host community families in selected villages by providing emergency rice and cash assistance to help them obtain essential food items and meet their immediate needs.

Mayyu Rescue (MR) is a civil society organization dedicated to supporting all vulnerable communities, regardless of race or religion, in Maungdaw and Buthidaung. In response to the growing humanitarian crisis, MR launched an urgent initiative to combat hunger and starvation among those affected by armed conflict and natural disasters.

In August 2025, MR completed the second phase of its Food Security Project, providing life-saving food assistance to thousands of starving IDP & host community families in Buthidaung.

Mayyu Rescue (MR) is a civil society organization dedicated to supporting all vulnerable communities in Maungdaw and Buthidaung, regardless of race or religion. In response to the growing humanitarian crisis, MR launched an urgent initiative to combat hunger and starvation among those affected by armed conflict and natural disasters.

In June 2025, MR completed the first phase of its Food Security Project, providing vital cash assistance to hundreds of starving IDP & host community families in Buthidaung.
