SAGE အဖွဲ့ဟာ အဖြူရောင်မိသားစုလူငယ်များအသင်းမှ ဆက်သွယ်မှုကြောင့် ရွာငံမြို့မှာရှိတဲ့ဗြဟ္မာဂူ ဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်းသည် အခက်အခဲအချို့နဲ့ ရင်ဆိုင်နေရတဲ့ အကြောင်းကို သိရှိခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ (၂၉) ရက်နေ့မှာ SAGE နဲ့ Vox Academy တို့ ပူးပေါင်းပြီး သွားရောက်လှူဒါန်းကာ ကလေးငယ်များအတွက် ပရောဂျက်လေးတွေ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
Vox Academy က ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမတွေက ကလေးငယ်တွေနဲ့အတူ ဂိမ်းကစားပေးခြင်း၊ ရင်းနှီးမှုတည်ဆောက်ခြင်းတွေ ပြုလုပ်နေချိန်မှာ SAGE အဖွဲ့သားတွေကတော့ Grade 6 နဲ့ Grade 7 ကျောင်းသား၊ ကျောင်းသူတွေနဲ့အတူ ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ ပုံမှန်ပရောဂျက် လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်တွေကို လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ဟာ ကျောင်းသားတွေနဲ့အတူ ထိုင်ပြီး ပွင့်ပွင့်လင်းလင်း စကားပြောခဲ့ကြသလို သူတို့ရဲ့ အတွေးအမြင်တွေကိုလည်း နားထောင်ပေးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ကျောင်းသားလေးတွေဟာလည်း သိလိုစိတ်ပြင်းပြပြီး အလေးအနက် တွေးခေါ်တတ်ကြတဲ့အပြင် တက်ကြွမှုလည်း ရှိကြပါတယ်။
Vox Academy က ကျောင်းသားတွေနဲ့အတူ ပူးပေါင်းပြီး အကြံဉာဏ်တွေ ထုတ်ခဲ့သလို ရန်ပုံငွေ ရှာဖွေမှုတွေကြောင့် စုစုပေါင်း အလှူငွေ ၁၅ သိန်းကျပ် (၁,၅၀၀,၀၀၀ ကျပ်) ရရှိခဲ့ပါတယ် -

၈၀၀,၀၀၀ ကျပ် ကို ကျောင်းအုပ်ဆရာတော် (ဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်းအုပ်) အား လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပါသည်
အလှူခရီးစဉ်အတွက် ကားငှားခ ၃၀၀,၀၀၀ ကျပ် သုံးစွဲခဲ့ပါသည်

အလှူငွေအချို့ကို လက်ရှိတွင် မသုံးစွဲသေးဘဲ နောင်တွင် ကွဲပြားသော လူမှုအကျိုးပြု လှူဒါန်းမှုများအဖြစ် ဆက်လက်အသုံးပြုသွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
အလှူရှင်များ၊ Vox Academy မှ ဆရာများနှင့် ကျောင်းသားများ၊ အဖြူရောင်မိသားစုလူငယ်များအသင်း နှင့် ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို နွေးထွေးစွာ ကြိုဆိုလက်ခံပေးခဲ့တဲ့ ဗြဟ္မာဂူဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်းတို့ကိုလည်း အထူးပင် ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါတယ်။
ဒီခရီးစဉ်ကနေတစ်ဆင့် အပြောင်းအလဲအစစ်အမှန်ဆိုတာ နားထောင်ပေးခြင်း၊ အတူတကွ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်းနဲ့ ဂရုစိုက်မှုပေးခြင်းတို့ကနေ စတင်တာဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို ပြန်လည်သတိပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ရှေ့ဆက်ပြီးတော့လည်း ဒီထက်ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်တွေကို လုပ်ဆောင်သွားဖို့ စိတ်အားထက်သန်လျက် ရှိပါတယ်။
Recently, SAGE was contacted by the White Family Youth Donation Group about Bhyammagu Monastic School in Ywar Ngan, a school that is currently struggling. On December 29th, SAGE and Vox Academy had a trip to the school to donate and have activities.
While Vox Academy’s teachers spent time playing games, and bonding with the younger children, SAGE worked with Grade 6 and 7 students on our usual project. We sat together, talked openly, and listened to their ideas. The students were curious, thoughtful, and enthusiastic!
Through joint brainstorming and fundraising efforts with Vox's students, we were able to raise a total of 15 lakhs kyats:
-Traditional Food Fest at Vox Academy: 840,500 kyats
-Fundraising by SAGE: 658,000 kyats
donatiom usage
-For 50 young students we have spent 100000 kyats on foods and drinks.
-800000 kyats donated to the principal of the school for school facilities.
-The travel costs and car rental totalled to 300000 kyats.
The left over money will be used to donate to another different place of need, which we will get back to inform.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our donors, to Vox Academy’s teachers and students, to the White Family Youth Donation Group, and to Bhyammagu Monastic School for welcoming us so warmly and allowing this to happen.
This trip reminded us that real change starts with listening, working together, and caring. And we’re excited to keep moving forward.
