Dear Sir / Madam,
Kyauktaw Muslin Social Aid Society.(H.Q) invites your submission of a financial bid in order to provide goods/services in accordance with the conditions detailed in the attached documents. The resulting agreement does not guarantee a specific value of purchases. Purchases under the agreement will be made through individual purchase orders.
The Invitation to Tender (ITT) details are as follows:
Subject of Tender: Backhoe rental for earthwork
ITT Period: January to March 2025
ITT Closure Date and Time: 04 February 2025
Minimum validity period: two in half months ( 2.5 )
MAS is soliciting information and pricing from responsible and qualified suppliers. Any offer which doesn't comply with the following TENDER requirements will be automatically considered as not valid and deleted from the bidding process.

Closing date for receiving quotes: 04 February 2025 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Validity of offer: 1 month
If TENDER specifications require further clarification, they may be sought prior to 30 January 2025 from 9:00 Am to 3:00 PM. on 959-955171530. When requesting clarifications, no reference to prices shall be made MAS is not bound or obliged to respond to queries made after the above date.
Offers must include: the name, address, telephone of the bidder and the name/title of the contact person. Results of the TENDE R will not be made public.
All companies invited to participate in solicitations are requested to respond either by submitting their firm offers or by indicating their inability to participate. General Conditions:
Changes from specifications: The specifications are defined in the "Specification Sheet" enclosed overleaf. Alternatives to requested specifications may be considered. Wherever alternatives are offered, it is the Bidders responsibility to provide full descriptive specifications and documentation of such items.
Delivery terms: Destination: Kyauk Taw Township. The offer must provide unit price for items requested and total cost for freight & insurance (if any). The supplier shall bear all risks relating to the delivery of the goods until provisionally accepted by MAS at the destination.
Warranty: Offer should confirm the granting of manufacturer’s warranty against defects on goods supplied for a period of at least one year
Payment: Cash Payments shall be made in cash by MAS of the Contracting Authority.
(a) The first installment of 30% of the contract value, which the Consignee will pay to the Contract processes, acknowledged by the Logistics and Program departments, and approved by the engineer
(b) The second instalment 50% of the contract value which Consignee will pay to Contractor upon completion of 70% of the Work done, the achieved works to be calculated and confirmed by the completion checklist, acknowledged by the Logistics and Program departments and approved by the engineer.
(c) The final instalment 20% of the contract value which Consignee will pay to Contractor upon completion of 100% of the Work, the achieved works to be calculated and confirmed by the completion check list, acknowledged by the Logistics and Program departments and approved by engineer and approval of the final technical inspection by the engineer and handover to the water user group committee; and
Cash to Contractor directly provided that Contractor submits a completed Information at the Invoice. Contractor agrees that wire transfer charges may apply, and if so, such charges will be automatically deducted from the payment for Contracting Services.
Surveyor: KMA reserves the right to appoint a surveyor to monitor that goods supplied are to specification.
Reporting: In the event of you being awarded the contract, you may be required to provide a weekly update on the progress of the order. Delays in shipments beyond the stipulated date will result in MAS having the option to cancel the complete or partial order without any recourse to MAS.
Origin: of the goods that you will supply is to be stated in offer.
Adjudication: Evaluation to be made on the basis of lowest price, most technically acceptable. Note that this TENDER contains no contractual offer of any kind. Any offer submitted will be regarded solely as an offer and does not commit MAS to consider any offer or award a contract through a Purchase Order. Furthermore, MAS reserves the right to accept all, or part of any Offer.
Currency of the tender: Offers are accepted in Kyat. Bids received in any other currency will be deleted from the selection process.
Packing: The Supplier warrants that the goods are contained or packaged adequately to protect the goods during transport, storage, and handling
