We came together from different countries with one thing in common, a belief that play can teach, connect, and inspire. 🎲

During this Erasmus+ mobility, we explored how board games are powerful tools for youth work: building leadership, teamwork, and communication skills; celebrating cultural diversity; and making learning genuinely fun. We're leaving with a practical toolbox of game-based methods, new friendships across borders, and the foundation for future collaborations. Because the best things happen when everyone has a seat at the table.

What if learning about democracy didn’t feel like a lecture but a game you actually want to play?

In a space where learning often stays theoretical and predictable, this training brings a fresh approach by turning democracy education into an interactive, hands-on experience through games and play. It is created for youth workers who are open to exploring, testing new ideas, and evolving their practice - those who want to strengthen their facilitation skills, discover gamification methods, and design meaningful learning experiences while building competences in civic engagement, media literacy, and intercultural teamwork.

Ready to take control of your future?
We’re excited to share the energy and inspiration from our project dissemination workshop!

As part of the follow-up activities, participants organized a local workshop in their hometown where they presented the project’s activities, objectives, and the impact it had on their personal and professional growth. They introduced the Erasmus+ programme (link in bio), highlighting the many opportunities it offers for young people, from youth exchanges and mobility experiences to skill development and international networking. They explained how the travel process works, how costs are supported, and what it truly means to collaborate with young people from different countries and cultures. Most importantly, they shared their own experiences - the friendships they built, the competences they developed, and the confidence they gained along the way.

To every young person who hasn’t taken part in a project like this yet, this is your moment. Step out of your comfort zone, believe in your potential, and apply. Your future won’t wait… so why should you?

Day 6 focused on building a career that fits in a constantly changing world. Participants visited the Euroactive Youth Office in Dobrotu, where they were welcomed by youth workers and ESC volunteers from Sweden who shared their journeys in the NGO sector. Through their stories, participants learned the value of volunteering, Erasmus+ experiences, and adaptability as a key skill for personal and professional growth.

The session included discussions on what it takes to work with young people, how to find international volunteering opportunities, and insights into the NGO field, highlighting that career paths are shaped by exploration, learning, and passion rather than having everything figured out. The day concluded with a relaxing picnic in nature, reinforcing the importance of balance, reflection, and taking time to recharge.
