Liska has food till Tuesday, and Moni urgently needs sucralfate syrup to help her stomach heal. We found both things an hour away from us, and we would really appreciate any help getting to the vet store on Monday morning It truly feels like it could be their last chance. ❤️

Right now, Liska is doing so well. But we have to keep going. At her age, she will likely need a permanent special low-fat gastrointestinal diet that won’t irritate her pancreas. Unfortunately, it’s very expensive. The least expensive bag we found is £106.

And Moni needs a £42 sucralfate syrup that could really change things for her. It works by forming a protective film over the stomach lining, helping it heal and easing the pain she lives with every day. It would prevent the toxins and acid from her kidney disease from damaging more.

Could we raise £148 for our old ladies by Monday? 🙏

It’s not easy, but if 12 people donate £12, it becomes possible.

We hope you know that you are part of the reason why Liska and Moni have even reached old age ❤️ That is rare in the rescue world. Let’s try to give them a little more time. They are not ready to go yet

ALL RAISED THANK YOU 🙏❤️This is all that’s left for Panda. It will barely last until Monday.

Nothing else works for her condition the way this food does. This food changed Panda’s life.

Before it, Panda went through difficult times with pain and being sick regularly. But with this food, it almost feels like she can live a normal life again.

We searched everywhere for a cheaper option and finally found a way to get it from a neighbouring country on Monday for £100. We even found transportation.

But the truth is… right now, we simply don’t have £100

We don’t know what to do. Every other food has failed her. We can’t bear seeing her go back to pain, vomiting, discomfort, and sleepless nights again.

ALL RAISED THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏❤️Another month for Pookie Bear, but we didn’t manage to raise the remaining part for his kennels😞

He's "few months" turned into years and that's isn't the life we want for him. A life of waiting… and waiting.

But we truly believe this is just temporary. Somewhere out there, his person exists. A responsible person that knows Pookie wants to do better... if he gets the chance.

Right now, we urgently need to cover May kennel costs 🙏 We’re missing £253.

Sometimes it's just nice to see they are still with us. Just nice to know they are still alive.

Yes, Panda's life is the dog shelter. And we don't know if she will ever leave. Will her digestion ever be normal? Who knows. Does she know that homes exist? Probably not.

But you know what… she’s alive.

She feels joy when the food arrives. She gets irritated when the others eat before her. She gets excited when she sees the pond in the summer. She sits in the rain because she likes it. Doesn't need the dog house unless there's thunder.

She’s not waiting for things to get better before she starts living.

And maybe that’s something we need to remember too.

These dogs still have everything to live for. ❤️

Old ladies Moni and Liska are still fighting for their lives. 💔

For 4 weeks now they have been on intensive treatment every single day.

Liska is battling pancreatitis.
Moni is battling kidney failure.

Some days are good, some are very hard… but their latest results showed a small improvement in BOTH girls, and that gives us hope. 🙏

Every day the vet comes to give therapy, while we try our best to keep them hydrated, comfortable and eating the special food they need to survive.

These two grandmas are true fighters. 🖤

Thanks to your support we managed to pay part of their bills already, but we still owe:

We truly believe they still deserve more time, but we cannot continue without help.

To think that this boy came to the shelter at just 2 months old… and we celebrated his 4th birthday in the shelter, slowly losing hope that he would ever get his chance 🥹

But look at him now ☺️🥰

Bobby is adopted!! Look how happy he is! ❤️

First, we want to say a huge thank you to Megan for fostering him. Without you, Bobby was slowly fading into the background at the shelter, unnoticed for years. But you decided to help, and as soon as people could finally meet him properly, everything changed 🥰 Thank you for changing his life.

We also want to thank his adopters for accepting him completely and being so patient and gentle with nervous Bobby. He has already made himself at home, and soon he’ll also get help for his anxiety ❤️

And finally, thank you to all of you. Without your support, Bobby would not be here today. You helped with his food, vaccines, treatments, and everything he needed for 4 whole years.

And it was all worth it ☺️

We caught the cutest interaction between Rambo and Lenka ☺️

Rambo wanted cuddles, and for some reason this time he decided to ask his big sister from another species 😄 But Lenka knows exactly what those little claws can do, and she definitely wasn’t too excited about it.

Even though she’s much bigger and stronger, she just patiently waited for Rambo to calm down, tolerating his tiny temper tantrum without ever thinking of hurting him ❤️

It was honestly so sweet to watch… and luckily for Lenka, Rambo gave up pretty quickly.

A message came through today saying the vehicle registration is due on May 12th 😱 And honestly, with everything happening around the dogs, the shelter, Moni and Granny Liska needing daily therapy… we completely forgot.

The registration is

£250

something we truly cannot afford right now because we are drowning in vet debt. But if we can’t pay it by Tuesday, we won’t be able to use the vehicle 🚗

And with so many dogs depending on us, that’s dangerous. No transport for emergencies. No transport for check-ups. No way to get Valentine for his tests so he can catch the Happy Bus.

So we have to ask for help 🙏

Granny Liska has good days and bad days.

With pancreatitis, and despite 10 days of treatment, her lipase levels have increased 😞 She’s receiving daily vet care and IV therapy, but it’s not working as we hoped. It’s hard to watch her struggle, she’s tired. 💔

But then… there are the good days.

Then she eats. She barks for attention. She gently tucks her head under your arm, asking for cuddles. She jumps and refuses the IV. And in those moments, you just know, she’s not ready to give up.

Right now, we urgently need to order more of her low-fat gastrointestinal food (£60), and continue her treatment. Her vet bills have already passed £200, and we don’t yet know how many more days she’ll need support.

If 17 people can donate £15, we can cover these immediate costs and keep fighting❤️

Here's the truth. There are only two options. We either find someone suitable for Grumpy Gregory or (more likely) he goes back to the shelter in Macedonia 🇲🇰 We don't want to do that, but we can't have another Pookie 😞

He struggles with close neighbours and children. The foster lady worked hard with him and he’s 99% great, but he still has serious triggers that she can't fully manage. He’s healthy, active, and wonderful with other dogs.

Recently, he bit a person from the house after a short absence, seeming not to recognize him. The injury was minor, but it broke the trust. And this has happened very similarly in the previous home as well. This may be due to past trauma or learning difficulties.

He’d suit a very experienced, single adult with no children, no close neighbours, and access to a car (he can’t handle buses). Is it possible to find someone like that? 🙏 We hope so.

Gregory loves other dogs, grooming, woods, chasing squirrels, playing ball, belly rubs.

But his Triggers are: children, loud noises, buses, scooters, bikes, close proximity, he pulls strongly to avoid them

Placing him in kennel is not an option. We can’t afford long-term kennel costs. Our only option is to fund his return and build a new kennel placement in the shelter back home, then to cover ongoing UK fees monthly.😞

Dear Ariel,

When we first saw you, you were just a puppy rejected by the world. Trying to find a balance between begging for food, yet not upsetting anyone… because when you did, people shouted and threatened to hurt you.

We couldn’t leave you there, Ariel. And neither could this whole community behind us. They shared your story, donated for you, each person helping in the ways they knew how.

And you were so, so brave through it all. The vet visits, the surgery, the recovery, the vaccines…

Then something wonderful happened. After a few months of waiting, you found a home in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We brought you to the Happy Bus, and it was an emotional goodbye but we knew what was waiting for you. A home full of ❤️ A place where you don’t have to feel nervous anymore. A nice evening at a cafe, cozy days… and even a pupuccino at the end of your walk 🥰

And we were right.

We want to thank your adopter for giving you the life you always deserved. And thank you to everyone who followed your story, who cared, who shared, who donated, and who believed that you deserved better.
