Better Tomorrow Majunga is recruiting volunteer English teachers to join their AMAZING team to continue expanding the Free English Program.

Our Free English Program offers free English courses to young people from underserved communities. With the help of our wonderful local volunteers, so far we have impacted 3 regions of Madagascar—Antananarivo, Toamasina, and Mahajanga.

Our volunteer English teachers play a key role in helping and supporting our students in their learning journey.

We usually recruit volunteers through our applications, which are currently closed. ☺️

Same thing, we also usually recruit students through an application. Our teams are currently working tirelessly to expand our program, so please stay tuned! 🚀

3. But when is your application open?
We encourage you to stay updated through our social media to find out when our applications will be available. 🌍

4. Can you open a Better Tomorrow in our region?
We are constantly working hard to expand Better Tomorrow. However, as college students, we try to do as much as we can while balancing our responsibilities. 📚

📣 Empowering youth starts with giving them a voice in the discussion.

Represented by Lusianne, Better Tomorrow Majunga has been invited to attend a week-long workshop organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Madagascar, which started yesterday.

Better Tomorrow Majunga is among the 5 organizations that have been invited to participate. Yesterday’s theme was about “training of frontline officers on human trafficking,”which was conducted by Captain Rochelle and Dr Modi, members of the UNODC.

The first part of the session dealt with the introduction to human rights. It examined the characteristics of the law, the category of rights, the actor of respect for the law and explored in depth the issues of human trafficking.

The second part delved more into the real meaning of human trafficking, that is, the commodification of human beings in simple terms. The main topic of discussion was the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, especially young Malagasy women sent to marry early by their parents.

🎉 We are THRILLED to announce that our students in Majunga, Madagascar have graduated from the English Connect Program, proudly organized by Better Tomorrow Majunga!

Through the English Connect Program, underprivileged youth receive free English courses for two to three months, empowering them with valuable language skills. This special graduation celebration included parents, certificates, and, OF COURSE, cake! 🍰

A huge thank you to our Majunga team for their remarkable dedication and for bringing our mission to life in such a meaningful way. Their hard work shines through—from developing a dynamic curriculum with games and activities to coordinating this memorable graduation event.

We’re also deeply grateful to the students for their enthusiasm and commitment, and to the parents for their support.

Finally, specials thanks to Fantenana School and all our partners who make it possible to continue and expand this work!
