At Angelus Taraclia, we provide free home based palliative care to any person in the terminal stages of cancer within the Taraclia District. Our holistic approach to palliative care includes three different kinds of care. Medical: Provide medical treatment to patients at home, while transferring patient care skills to the family members so they are empowered to assist their loved ones in this diff
icult time. Social: Provide a support system to assist in the preparation of documents related to pension, benefits, and other concerns. This allows the patient to live as freely as possible until death. Spiritual: Provide psychological comfort based on the patient’s spiritual and religious needs. At the request of the patient, our staff is prepared to discuss spiritual issues and ensure the patient’s interaction with the appropriate religious authorities.
