Amal Salé is a legally registered association created in May, 2002 by young people for young people in order to encourage positive action and help them take control over their own destinies. It looks to better life conditions in the underprivileged neighborhoods of Hay Esaalam and Hay Linbiat through the organization of civic, educational, cultural, and athletic activities. The lack of social infr

astructure and dialogue in these areas are (with unemployment) the principal causes of the feelings of alienation so common among the young population.
