Day 2 (in person- Parallel sessions) — and what a turning point it has been.
As we move into what is practically Day 3 of this iHED journey, one thing is clear: this conference has done more than convene panels; it has positioned Eastern Morocco and Oujda as a space where global conversations are not only heard, but actively shaped.
Across discussions on internationalization, diplomacy, and digital transformation, we witnessed something rare at the national level: sustained, critical engagement with issues that define the future of higher education and global cooperation. These are not abstract debates — they are the very questions that will determine who produces knowledge, who circulates it, and whose voices are legitimized.
We take pride in being among the few in Morocco consistently creating and holding space for these conversations.
But more importantly, we take pride in what comes after.
For us, a conference is never an endpoint. It is a starting line. Each gathering translates into concrete outputs; Q1 journal publications, edited volumes, and collaborative projects that carry these discussions forward into tangible academic and policy impact.
Eastern Morocco and Oujda are not on the margins of these conversations. It is becoming part of their architecture.
And this is only the beginning.
