The World Pool Association (WPA) advises all players, federations, partners, and the global billiards community that the event titled the “Union Billiards & IBF World Championships 2026” is NOT sanctioned, recognised, or endorsed by the WPA.

The organisation behind this event is not affiliated with the WPA and holds no authority to designate any competition as a World Championship within WPA-administered disciplines.

❗ This event has been formally classified as an Unsanctioned World Championship.
Results, titles, and rankings from this event will not be recognised by the WPA under any circumstances.

✅ The ONLY officially recognised Blackball World Championship in 2026 is:
