We were so grateful to be back with our Lake Village students today.
Mr. Caleb’s class covered the Last Supper and Jesus’ Washing the Disciples feet. Mr. Caleb prayed over each student as he washed their hands.
Ms. Jane’s class covered Palm Sunday, but most of the discussion was about their experiences during the tornado. The students expressed how they prayed during the storm and saw how God protected their families and animals. They said they experienced loss of property, but they are still grateful for all they have. They also could see the good that God has done through the storm: bringing the community together, people sharing their things and helping, and renewing the land.
We were so blessed to see the students express their faith and how they depended on God during this scary and difficult time.

Today 3rd and 4th Grade learned about the Good Samaritan and loving our neighbor. Then they made blessing bags for First Responders. Many had family members already serving their community and will deliver them today. They decorated the bag with a message or prayer and many wrote a message in the Bible. Office Gary and Pastor Josh received their blessing bag because of their service to the community.
