Last night's PTB We Got a CD Listening Party at the Lily was everything.

I’m so proud of the Bouqe team for creating such an amazing body of work — a full project you can ride top to bottom. No skips. Just vibes.

A mix of sounds and nostalgic beats that feel connected to a real place and transport you into an energy made for the sesh and beyond.

300 bags. 3,000 items. $3,000 raised. 💛

This past Saturday, Love Your Tribe hosted our 4th Annual Give Warmth DC: MLK Day of Service—and our hearts are full.

✨ 50+ volunteers
✨ 300+ Give Warmth bags
✨ 3,000+ essential items
✨ $3,000+ raised through donations and community support

Together, we distributed hats, gloves, socks, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, and denim, items that were received with love and gratitude.

This impact was only possible because of people across the country who gave through our Walmart Wishlist, online donations, and in-kind contributions through our community partners. Every dollar and every item helped us meet real needs with dignity.

As someone born and raised in Atlanta, MLK Weekend has always lived in my spirit. I grew up marching down Auburn Ave with my mom, visiting Ebenezer Baptist Church, and learning that service is love in action.

As we served, I also thought about my Dad, honoring his memory ahead of the anniversary of his passing on January 25. Service is part of his legacy, and mine.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, sponsor, and partner who showed up. In times like these, community care is resistance.

Love Your Tribe is proud to announce the 4th Annual Give Warmth DC: MLK Day of Service, happening Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Vera Cocina.

This year is extra special — we’re celebrating 5 YEARS of Love Your Tribe and the incredible impact we’ve built together through healing circles, community events, alumni programs, Give Warmth DC, and so much more. 💛

Our 2026 goal:
🔥 Raise $5,000
🧤 Give Warmth Bags to 300+ unhoused neighbors across DC
👖 Launch our new Denim Drive to support local shelters

Our partner Po’Up Card Game is hosting PO' UP! Live on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6–9 PM at Llama Bar, which will also serve as a donation drive for Give Warmth DC. Bring an item to support our neighbors during the coldest months of the year.
