🌊 من ثورة إلى كابوس!.. القارة الثامنة تغزو محيطاتنا 🌍
قبل 70 سنة كان البلاستيك اختراع يغير العالم.. خفيف، عملي، ويستخدم في كل حاجة من الطب للزراعة والصناعة.
لكن الان ؟ إصبح أكبر خطر يهدد الكوكب كله! 😔
في قلب المحيط الهادئ تتجمع ملايين الأطنان من المخلفات البلاستيكية، لدرجة إن العلماء سموها مجازًا «القارة الثامنة»!
مش جزر ولا أرض، لكن بحر كامل مليان قطع بلاستيك عايمة وميكروبلاستيك دقيق داخل في السلسلة الغذائية اللي تصل الينا في الآخر! 🍽️🐠🐢 الأسماك تختنق..
🕊️ الطيور تموت بالبلاستيك...
👩‍⚕️ والإنسان نفسه يتأثر من المواد السامة اللي تتسرب للأكل والمياه!
الحل مش مستحيل:
♻️ نوقف البلاستيك أحادي الاستخدام
🔄 نعيد التدوير بذكاء
🌱 نرجع نعيش باحترام للطبيعة
القارة الثامنة مش خيال علمي هي #إنذار حقيقي!
لازم #نتحركوا، ممكن نوصلوا قريبا جدًا لـ «كوكب بلا حياة».

Plastic pollution can pose risks to the environment and public health. In Libya, a project has not only improved plastic waste management practices – it's changed mindsets.

With funding from the Agency for Development Cooperation (Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo - AICS Tunisi), UNOPS Africa, UN-HABITAT and Libya's Ministry of Local Government (وزارة الحكم المحلي - ليبيا) implemented a project to reduce plastic waste through community education.

As part of the project, UNOPS provided training and grants to local civil society organizations to support them in delivering awareness-raising campaigns on plastic recycling.

"What began as a series of workshops, clean-up days and educational sessions evolved into a community-wide conversation about responsibility, sustainability and local action,” said Zahia Farag of civil society organization Why Me.

“Seeing children educate their parents, neighbours organizing themselves without prompting, and participants asking how they could continue recycling after the campaign was a clear sign of real impact," she added.
