On Thursday, April 9, the day will focus on the use of hip-hop culture as a tool for education and social transformation. The seminar Hip-Hop Culture as a Tool for Social Transformation: Education, Methodologies, and Community Empowerment through Creativity will be held at Pompeu Fabra University.
Hip Hop as a Tool for Social Transformation
*Xidus Pain (UK). Renowned artist and educator, with diplomas in music therapy, educational psychology, and creative writing. Member of Hip Hop Works.
*Juan Enamorado (Honduras). Educator and researcher. He holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and serves as Executive Director of Warriors Zulu Nation Honduras.
*Juan Juárez (Mexico). Cultural manager and researcher specializing in Hip Hop culture, and founder of Patrimonio Hip Hop A.C., an organization dedicated to social development in Morelia, Michoacán.
*Grandmaster Ready D. (South Africa). A legendary figure in the South African music scene—DJ, producer, and educator, and member of the iconic Brasse Vannie Kaap. CEO and co-founder of G-CAP’s Beat Bangaz DJ Academy, empowering communities through music.
*DJ Azuhl (South Africa). Cape Town–based DJ, producer, and educator, member of Brasse Vannie Kaap and co-founder of Beat Bangaz DJ Academy, mentoring and shaping the next generation of DJs.
*Chaun PridGeon (USA). Psychologist. He has been part of Play for Peace for 29 years, leading workshops and training youth around the world. Member of Hip Hop Works.
*Luis Herald (Madagascar). Africa–US music industry consultant, Educational Psychology instructor, and Director of Hip Hop Works Madagascar.
*Víctor Seus (Tenerife). Multidisciplinary artist who integrates hip hop, muralism, and collective creative practices. He develops international projects focused on social transformation through art, language, and education. Member of Hip Hop Works.
*Carles Feixa (Lleida). Professor of Social Anthropology at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). He specializes in youth cultures and has conducted fieldwork in Catalonia, Mexico, and Colombia.

Raquel Delgado (Badalona). Graduate in Philology, multidisciplinary artist, and cultural manager. Co-founder and Deputy Executive Director of Hip Hop Works Inc.
