تعتمد التنمية المستدامة على حصول الجميع على فرص للمشاركة في الحياة الاقتصادية والمدنية

في عام 2025، عمل برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي مع المؤسسات الوطنية على توسيع الفرص المتاحة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في جميع أنحاء ليبيا، ومن خلال مبادرة "جسور"، تمكن الشباب من ذوي الإعاقة من تعزيز مهاراتهم لدعم انتقالهم إلى سوق العمل.

وفي الانتخابات البلدية الليبية، تم انتخاب 107 من الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة لعضوية المجالس البلدية، في حين عمل 50 قائداً شاباً على تطوير "شبكة الشباب الليبي الانتخابية" للمساعدة في تعزيز انتخابات أكثر تيسيراً وشمولاً. وتظهر هذه النتائج ما يمكن تحقيقه عندما يتم دمج المشاركة وإمكانية الوصول وتيسير الحركة في صلب العملية التنموية.

Sustainable development depends on everyone having opportunities to participate in economic and civic life

In 2025, UNDP worked with national institutions to expand opportunities for persons with disabilities across Libya. Through the Jusoor initiative, young persons with disabilities strengthened skills to support their transition into the workforce. In Libya's municipal elections, 107 persons with disabilities were elected to municipal councils, while 50 young leaders developed the Libyan Youth Electoral Network to help advance more accesible and inclusive elections. These results show what becomes possible when participation and accesibility are built into development.
