🇱🇺 Luxembourg Creative Lab Advances Ethical AI Skills for Creative Educators
We are pleased to announce that Luxembourg Creative Lab has contributed to the completion of the document “Ethical AI Skills for Creative Educators – Mapping the Training Program Content.”
This important milestone was developed within Activity 1: Co-Designing the Training Program “Ethical AI for Creative Trust”, part of the Erasmus+ co-funded project DeepTech for Creative Trust: Countering Deepfakes and Enabling Ethical AI in the Audio-Visual Industry (Project No. 2025-2-LU01-KA210-VET-000371932) 🇪🇺
The document defines the pedagogical structure and competence framework of a six-module training programme designed to support educators, trainers, and creative professionals in addressing the challenges and opportunities created by generative AI and deepfake technologies in the audio-visual sector.
Through this work, the project addresses key emerging competences including:
🎯 AI literacy related to generative and synthetic media
🔍 Deepfake detection and verification skills
⚖️ Ethical reasoning and critical judgement
📜 Legal and copyright awareness in AI-generated content
🎬 Responsible and transparent creative workflows
At Luxembourg Creative Lab, we are proud to contribute to the co-design of innovative training approaches that strengthen trust, transparency, and ethical AI practices in the creative industries.
📌 Building on the insights from this mapping document, the project consortium is now working on the development of the full training programme, including practical exercises, case studies, and learning materials for educators and creative professionals.

🇩🇪 XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences

🇧🇬 Budakov Films

🇪🇺 What is DeepTech for Creative Trust about?

The project responds to the rapid rise of deepfakes and the ethical implications of AI use in the audio-visual industry. It does so through three closely connected strands of activity:

1️⃣ Co-design of the training programme “Ethical AI for Creative Trust”, including a dedicated competence framework and pilot-ready learning modules
2️⃣ Piloting through six national workshops, leading to draft syllabi and explanatory video materials
3️⃣ Three international conferences to present results, collect stakeholder feedback, refine outputs, and support long-term integration into VET and higher education

📚 Expected results & impact

✔️ A comprehensive training programme comprising 5 competence-based modules and accompanying explanatory videos
✔️ Six draft syllabi ready for integration into VET and higher education curricula
✔️ Consolidated feedback and best-practice reports at European level
✔️ Direct engagement of 72 educators and sector stakeholders, strengthening capacities in deepfake literacy, ethical AI, pedagogical prompting, data protection, and intellectual property

🌍 Project results will be disseminated widely through online platforms, on-site events, and European networks, ensuring sustainability, policy relevance, and tangible impact for education and the creative industries.

At Luxembourg Creative Lab, we look forward to working with our partners to strengthen trust, ethics, and innovation in Europe’s audio-visual ecosystem.

On October 16th, 2025, Luxembourg Creative Lab a.s.b.l. proudly hosted the CRAFT3D Multiplier Event as part of the Erasmus+ co-funded project “CRAFT3D – Enhancing Traditional Craft Practices through 3D Printing and Technology Innovation.”
🎯 The event brought together 33 participants — artisans, educators, vocational training experts, FabLab representatives, and innovation professionals — from Luxembourg and across Europe to explore how 3D printing and digital tools can empower traditional craftsmanship, making it more innovative, sustainable, and competitive.
💬 The five-hour program featured inspiring keynote sessions, three thematic panels, and a live 3D printing demonstration led by Daniel Hoffmann. Speakers such as Mr. Tsvetomir Budakov, Sara Rossi (Fondazione Innovazione), and Prof. Dr. Petyo Budakov (XU University) shared valuable insights into digital transformation in crafts and vocational education.
🌍 Participants praised the event’s hands-on approach, highlighting how CRAFT3D’s Mentorship Programme, Learning Platform, and 3D Printing Toolkit provide tangible support for educators and artisans adapting to the digital era.
🔜 Next steps include promoting the project’s digital training tools, and organizing a follow-up workshop for artisans eager to apply 3D printing in their practice beyond the completion of the project.
👏 A big thank you to all partners, speakers, and participants for making this event a success and for contributing to the future of digital craftsmanship in Europe!
