Huge thanks to LUNEX University for hosting our conference and for continuing to build such a meaningful partnership with Lëtz Ménopause!

It was wonderful to gather with such an engaged audience for a conversation that matters — exploring the many stages of the menopause transformation, the physical and emotional shifts it involves, and how it shows up in everyday life, from home to the workplace.

Moments like this remind us why open, honest dialogue is so powerful. Every conversation we have together chips away at the silence and stigma still surrounding menopause, and builds a little more understanding and support along the way.

A special thank you to Ana, Sara, and Jessica, along with all the collaborators and curious, engaged participants who showed up and made this session so rich. 🤝

We’re proud of what we’re building with LUNEX and can’t wait for the future — together, for better health, education, and wellbeing across Luxembourg.

Repost from • Can we talk about one of the biggest women’s health studies of the year? Because I think this could change how we think about va**nal oestrogen.

We’ve known for years that va**nal oestrogen can reduce recurrent urine infections after the menopause. But this huge new study has taken things a step further.

Researchers looked at almost 1.9 million women with recurrent UTIs using one of the largest healthcare databases in the world. They compared women who were prescribed va**nal oestrogen with those who weren’t.

What they found wasn’t just fewer urine infections. Women using va**nal oestrogen were less likely to be admitted to hospital, less likely to develop sepsis and less likely to die.

But here’s the bit that really caught my attention…

These benefits were seen across all adult age groups.

That’s important because we’ve often thought of va**nal oestrogen as something to consider mainly for older women. This study suggests that if you’re an adult woman with recurrent UTIs and low oestrogen levels, the benefits may start much earlier than we previously appreciated.

Why? Because oestrogen doesn’t just affect the va**na. It keeps the tissues of the bladder and urethra healthy, maintains the acidic environment that protective Lactobacillus bacteria love, and makes it much harder for bacteria like E. coli to gain a foothold.

And remember, va**nal oestrogen isn’t the same as taking HRT tablets. It’s a tiny dose applied directly where it’s needed, with minimal absorption into the bloodstream.

So if recurrent UTIs are ruining your life, don’t just keep asking for antibiotics. Ask whether va**nal oestrogen could be part of the solution. This study suggests we may need to start that conversation much earlier than we used to.
