Our association, SCAL, Societe des Collectionneurs d’armes Letzebuerg, was founded on April 17th 2004 in order to offer to Luxembourg an association which regroups the collectors of arm, supports this passion and makes it available to everybody. Our association has the following targets:
-To promote the interests of the collectors of weapons in Luxembourg.
-To organize meetings by inviting the co
llectors of arms.
-To promote the international relationships with similar associations, in particular through the FESAC affiliation (Foundation of European societies of arms collectors).
-To organize shooting contests with historical arms.
-To promote the passion for historical weapons in relation to historical, cultural and social aspects.
-To share our members’ experiences gathered over years and make those available to the public
Le 17 avril 2004 la société des collectionneurs d'armes Lëtzebuerg a été fondée afin de pouvoir offrir au Luxembourg une association regroupant les collectionneurs d'armes et de soutenir notre passion commune. Notre association a comme but de:
-Promouvoir les intérêts des collectionneurs d'armes au Luxembourg
-Organiser des rencontres entre collectionneurs d'armes
-Promouvoir les relations internationales avec des associations similaires notamment à travers l'affiliation avec la FESAC (Foundation of European societies of arms collectors)
-Organiser des concours de tir avec des armes historiques
-Promouvoir l'intérêt pédagogique pour l'aspect historique, culturel et social lié aux armes anciennes
-Rendre accessible au public l'expérience cumulée de nos membres en rapport avec leur passion
