Here’s what’s happening in August at Marion Chapter DeMolay!

We got Chapter of the Year!!!

It was such a great and meaningful concave for us. Florida initiated 8 new boys to get positive growth. For awards Marion had brother Gabriel, Leyton, and Mason competing in ritual to bring home the fifth time flower talk champion, Mag 7, Champion, and third time Ceremony of Light Champion. For sports we had a second place pool team! We said goodbye to brother Owen as a JO and welcomed brother Kauan to our District. Knighthood said goodby to brother Mason as IKC with his MSA award along with the Priory Princess. Brother Leyton, Gabriel, Owen, and Gavin received their RD awards and brother Mason his Chevalier!

Our Master Councilor presented our EO with an honors membership and medal of appreciation at our annual D2 pizza party at conclave, who also got attacked by silly string later in celebration of being DeMolay Internationals EO of the year. Dad Rick got the EOs Conclave Medal of Appreciation for his huge support this year as an advisor, medic, and mentor for our boys. We had two first timers go to conclave with us. Congrats to Brother Phoenix and Dad Chuck for DeMolay and Advisor of the year. Our past Sweetheart Piper installed our new State Sweetheart Katie who announced their new award. And our own brother Mason was installed as DSMC, and Cristian State Scribe.

Finally congrats and good luck to our new SMC Nick, we know you’re going to have an amazing year.

We had a great day at Ares Training Facility where we tried out 8 different models and had a lot of safe fun. Thank you to W:. Trae and Carl from District 15 for making this possible!

On Flag Day, the Order of DeMolay renews its dedication to the virtue of Patriotism, reminding us of the value of becoming responsible citizens from an early age.

We are 10 away from positive growth! For the next ten members initiated, paid, and completed in E-Scribe Florida DeMolay will reimburse the Chapter’s membership fees. Let the countdown begin!

We had a great night serving dinner and helping out at the GMOV. Congrats to R:.W:. James Peoples and M:.W:. Haskell Vest for a really great event. We had 14 boys from our district get together in true brotherhood.
